I can't sleep and can't be sodded to work so here's a



1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before? Studied law, did triathlon, went to Cyprus

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? Didn't make any and no

3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Yes my aunt

4. Did anyone close to you die? Yes my grandfather

5. What countries did you visit? Cyprus, Ireland

6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004? More music, few triathlons under my belt

7. What dates from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? 15th feb - I was 21, 17th Dec@Fabric

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Finals

9. What was your biggest failure? Dunno, tend to forget them and move on

10. Did you suffer illness or injury? Bronchitis, nasty rugby injury

11. What was the best thing you bought? Music, bicycle, ticket to Cyprus

12. Whose behavior merited celebration? James for getting a blue

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? UK government

14. Where did most of your* money go? Music, travel

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? Seeing music, finishing finals, tri

16. What song will always remind you of 2004? Drink to Moving On - Grand National

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:

a) happier or sadder? - Slightly less happy but things look to improve

b) thinner or fatter? - Thinner
c) richer or poorer? - Pretty much the same, I suppose more debts but who gives

18. What do you wish you'd done more of? Attending law lectures, writing structured comment

19. What do you wish you'd done less of? Watching soaps and TV in general

20. How will you be spending Christmas? Already done with family

21. Did you fall in love in 2004? No

24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? No, I don't hate

25. What was the best book you read? America by Franz Kafka

26. What was your greatest musical discovery? Nick Drake

27. What did you want and get? a 2:1, more music

28. What did you want and not get? Again not something I concentrate on so difficult to say

29. What was your favorite film of this year? Well very much enjoyed Akira and Princess Mononoke, but other than those House of the Flying Daggers

30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? 21, party at home with friends and family

31.What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Not finishing my one important relationship, but shit happens

32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004? Wear sports kit most of the time (often regardless of the smell) and otherwise very smart or cool

33. What kept you sane? Music and mass

34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? Scarlett Johansson or PJ Harvey

35. What political issue stirred you the most? Recent House of Lords decision re: Belmarsh or R v Abu Rideh (use of information obtained by torture), or the illegality of the war

36. Who did you miss? Aside from the obvious, Oxford friends,  Morgana

37. Who was the best new person you met? Scott from Fabric

38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004: If you are prepared to work hard enough, even in the face of adversity (like computer theft before finals) anything is possible
