I have been checking out Spinemagazine - they gave me this wicked link to an MF Doom reggae influenced track. There is also a link to a wicked rapping Rabbi, he is actually not a gimmick and pretty good, specially his beatboxing.

Last night saw quite amazing shizzle at Fabric - probably the best night of my life. I was there with my flatmate, my sister and a friend of hers. Thanks to me we were on the guest list and manage to bypass the queue of about 1500 people and get in at a heavily reduced price (the whole night I spent £15!!!!) The girls were fairly into their drum ( Read more... )

So this has been an interesting week. The exhibition at the barbican (of tattoos found on Russian convicts) was absolutely brilliant. There is a book to accompany it - a small pink hardback so go and get it. Here is another exhibition which might be worth checking out. Today I have been listening to Medulla by Bjork. Almost universally voice (no instruments) this is close to coming in as the second most memorable album I have ever listened to after Aphex Twin's Selected Ambient Works Vol. 1.
