I have been at the library reading through some Anthony Trollope as I prepare for the conference I'm presenting at next month. If you don't know, Trollope was a Victorian novelist who mainly wrote about life in smaller English towns; clerics and lesser aristocrats play large roles. But he also travelled quite a bit and wrote several travel books,
