That's the first I read about that, and it is horrible!

On the other hand, I love reading that your conference went well. How was the city itself, and did you receive many questions about your paper?

I didn't see much of the city this time, other than the city's Washington Monument (ironic, huh?), which predates the more famous one in D. C. I also got to have dinner at an incredible Indian restaurant, Akbar's, which is below street-level near downtown. Summer before last, when I helped Martin move, I got to see a lot more of the city. I think it's a great place.

And I did several questions, and if I can brag on myself for a moment, I answered them well!
