[Friday, July 18th] Radio Announcements by Yabu Kouta! :D
Yabu was pouty. Kouhei called him last night to tell him to do an announcement today in his place. Kouhei was never available and Yabu, well, he was always available now since he followed Taiyou's advice and finally quit his job. Yabu showed up to Kouhei's apartment the yesterday, at night and got the stuff Kouhei had to give him for this and here he was today, with it. He had no idea how to do this, all he had were instruction papers Kouhei faxed him and two posters he posted at the announcement board.He pressed the green button, like it said on the instructions.
Yabu was kind of shy about talking to everyone face to face, but this was a microphone and one of the rare things that make Yabu Kouta overcome his shyness are microphones. He knew he wasn't as much of a bouncy emcee/radio host as Kouhei (was that even possible when sober?) but he wanted to do his best, he was excited, too, after all.
"Hello everyone, this is Yabu Kouta!" He greeted, "President Matsumoto is currently unavailable so I'm replacing him for the announcements today." He explained. "So, everyone is getting excited about Daibouken? I sure know I am, my knees go jiggly just when I think about it..." He said. "Anyways! I am here to announce a few awesome things. First, we'll be travelling around Japan, ne, and we'll be walking the same path as our super awesome senpais, NEWS!" He announced, hoping Kato-senpai hears this and gives him a better mark or something. He can dream, no?
"We'll go to... Osaka, Nagoya, Sendai, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Kagoshima, Hokkaido, Yokohama and... this needs a President imitation." He made his voice just a little louder and higher. "YAY! WE'RE GOING TO PERFORM IN TOKYO DOME!" A little feedback, Kouhei would be proud of him! "Oh, no. Oops, sorry..." He got it under control again.
"Also, we have groups, and songs, thanks to our wonderful council." He said cherfully. "I'm going to post two posters, they have the lists on them. Check who's in your group and what you'll sing." He said. "And, anyways, everyone of you should be getting a message from Matsumoto-san sent to your phones or to your home about this, anyways. I got mine, it said For Daibouken, you, Yabu Kouta, will be placed in the group Ya-ya-yah. And then he listed out the places where we'll go and the songs we'll sing. It's a very professional-like message, I was like whoooa Matsumoto, is that yooou? when I read it, haha." He ranted a bit.
"Okay, so, I'm off to post those posters on the announcement board. Spread the word! Yabu Kouta deshita!" He shut the microhpone off and dashed out, to the board.
