Laura and I got back last night from a grand trip to Point Reyes, which reaffirmed everything I love about California's natural beauty. Is it weird that I've been thinking about writing a poem about elephant seals for a couple days now? Ever since the Electric Whale Revival I've had this idea for a piece about elephant seals and their mating habits and stuff, and my dad, and well mostly elephant seals. But then here you are writing about them all poetically and well, there you go.
