Ok so I try very hard to stay open minded about global affairs and not judge but this is going to far. Maybe I am just too atheist for my own good but I can't even begin to understand why the muslim world is going completely crazy over extreme and maybe unnecessary use of freedom of speech

I think you (and a lot of other people) misjudge the situation. I doubt this is about cartoons, I think it never really was, but I don't need to explain the difference between a trigger and a reason here

No, you don't need to explain the difference between trigger and reason. I just think it's awful timing on both sides since enough people in western countries have difficulties imagining muslims leading normal non-extremest lives as it is. And until France re-published stuff there were still the few countries very openly opposing Britain's and the USA's action on terror.

In most cases my approach is one of "just cut out the dumb shit" but this will really need one big heartfelt "sorry" or an even bigger "H-bomb". I think I should regularly start posting *what would you do if this were your last week on earth* meme's.
