yeah. i think you're right that the concept of justice is defined by whatever society writes the law, and then further by whomever in that society has the means to write said law. The only thing that makes it just is that everyone has to follow it with no exceptions (regardless of class, money, etc).
i suppose i was musing on the fact that with the existence of things like class and wealth and influence, there can't be justice for everyone and you can't depend on gov't or the police to deliver it.
Even Lex Luthor fucked up metropolis on a daily basis and superman would just destroy the robot or whatever and let luthor go.
i definitely agree that perfect knowledge only exist with god-like characters (like batman and superman) and can't exist here without super fucking brutal police-state surveillance (like batman's cellphone tower).
I'll be in San Francisco March 12-15.
