Is the sick again a cold? Cause if we're talking about nasty colds, at any drugstore, over the counter, you can find a box of "Cold Eeze" They're little lozenges with zinc in them and when johnny first begins to get sick, make him suck on one - no chewing. Two hours later make him suck on another, again, no chewing. Repeat this process. I guarantee it will thwart your sick and cut its duration down to nothing flat.
Also, from working at the school and getting a nasty colds every other month, the doc finally told me to double up on the Sudafed. I'd take the little red ones and just take twice as much as usual. I'm sure if the doc told me to do it, it won't be harmful for others (geez, famous last words eh?) But I always found that once I got my nose/sinuses to dry up, that was soooo half the battle.
Rest. Fluids. Rest. Do I work for Cold Eeze? Unofficially only.
