So, I commented in wtfmoneky's livejournal about his latest bag of hilarity here. In it, he complains that people are trying to censor discussion of things they don't like. For my trouble, I got banned from posting in his livejournal.

The snide and mean side of me says she probably ignores it as it would be inconveinent to maintain such rigid standards and still have friends.

The more realistic side of me says I'd ignore some things in a friend in order to maintain the friendship while trying to subtly nidge things or lead by example.

I just couldn't let the threat to TWC go by. I'm sure TWC and I could find things to disagree about. We're both confident, opinionated beings with very different life experiences. At the same time, I'd bet it'd be easier for us to get along and find things we could agree upon while just letting the smal disagreements lie. I've never seen TWC take out after someone unprovoked or without at least trying to reason first. In this case, I think whoever advised not to fling poo with a Monkey was correct.
