The title doesn't really have anything to do with the update, but I liked the sound of it, and this was, originally, going to be an update talking a little bit about the Amazing Snivelling Man and his departure (however brief) from UF, but I have commented on that quite enough in other places, so only the title remains

Congrats and condolences all round, and thanks for all the fun and games. It's been nice, and you definitely shouldn't be gone long. The only other person who inspires such mayhem and cynicism in me is my SO. Well, her and Oompa. :)

I personally couldn't get out of school fast enough after the Master's. They couldn't have stopped me. I was practically ripping doors off their hinges in my haste to depart. Well... you get the idea. Of course, to each their own.

Strangely enough, the good Mrs. Dr. wants to keep people from dying. ;)
But, just give her a few more years. Her conversion to the dark side is nearly complete.

It hasn't been too bad, I'm just starting to think I don't care all that much about the Ph. D. after all, and I'd be happy to go out and do work for once. I have a pretty diverse knowledge base, and I can still study with the best of 'em, so we'll just have to see.
