So, I saw Brokeback Mountain today, and I really loved it. Making a movie like that at all definitely has its pros and cons, the main cons being, as Anthony has pointed out, that such a plot has been done and can be seen as exploitive. So what's cool is that I just spent like 6 minutes trying to figure out how to locate the first page from this math article I was missing, while the URL of said article beamed maniacally up at me from the top right corner of the page. Although math's scourge upon my person is far from complete, I have at least written the paper of the week.

I have also changed my journal's format from red to pink and from french to Italian. It's pretty AND cool. I encourage you to look at it :)

I have never looked a squirrel directly in the eye before this afternoon, walking back from a meeting in the library. As soon as I did that, I began to realize that squirrels are the only creatures that we see either being killed or actually dead just about as much as we see them alive.
