I agree with you about "Dead Like Me." It's an interesting and entertaining show and I'm looking forward to seeing more episodes. It sort of reminds me of some of Neil Gaiman's death mythology.

It is similar in tone to "Good Omens," as well as a little-watched midseason replacement called M.Y.O.B. which came out in 2000. The voice-overs and strange flashes are really, really similar, as is the overall content. Basically, imagine if George never died, and you'd have M.Y.O.B..

I have been enjoying "dead like me" also. Like you said, it loses you a little at first, but the more you watch, the more you want to watch. I am totally curious, not only that, but it makes death seem less scarey. I think shows like this and like "six feet under" have given me a much differnt view of death in general.

I think they at least remind us to think about death sometimes.

I try to block it out of my mind most of the time. It's still scary. :)
