I was watching the news during my lunch break at the chow hall, and they had a poll about who was for/against the war and different things like that. So the question popped in my head

The (largely liberal) Media has a huge effect on the war. CNN is just one example of the media using it's power to affect public opinion and get more people to see things from the Liberal point of view. Sometimes I'm inclined to think some of these people hate America even more than Michael Moore.

It's all about the Liberal Agenda right now. It's not "This man blew himself up and killed 32 American Soldiers," It's all about "What drove this man to blow himself up and kill 32 American Soldiers? It was the horrible way in which we are treating the people of Iraq!".

However the media sells it, the public will buy it. For most people, their knowledge of the world is based entirely on the 10 seconds of CNN they watch everyday in between football and general hospital.

We are doing good in Iraq, a lot of good, even if the Liberals preach otherwise. I get to read the real story everyday, thank God for that.

I won't get too deep into this, since you're standing right next to me and I can just talk to you about it... but my main point would have to be that whatever the media portrays is usually what the general public is going to side with. Stupid people need to follow someone else's opinions and the media is just about the largest opinion I can think of.
