Man I am so anxious to pcs to my next base. I got my port call (day I leave this island) today, January 12th is my plane ride. Hopefully I can take 30 days of leave, but I'll have to check how much leave I actually have saved up. It's been almost a year since I last took leave (last april) so I should have it. I don't look forward to that 16 or so

No good bars in Mt Holly, especially compared to what I have seen in my travels and what you have seen at Okinawa (did they hit you with Soju there?). Try going over to philly to some sports bars, even if you don't like sports it's generally a great atmosphere and they are a little trendier so there are less lowlives. Also, places like hooters are great because of all the busty women.

I'll try to drive up while you're on leave one weekend, just let me know when you actually have leave.

Fuck sports bars...I need me some karaoke xD It will be my goal to find a good karaoke bar while I am home...anyone interested?

I believe Dads has a karaoke night, I don't know which night really or any details but you should look that up.

also karaoke is freaking awesome :D

I hear from some guy's that lived in Philly that it has quite the happening night life, bars and shit, Go look for some good ones there too. You could go on a real life bender, going from bar to bar. Maybe drink liquor from a boot. (I actually want to do this some day, just to say I did)
