I agree. Tennant rocked that scene soooo HARD that it STILL hurts. :( And he seems to have moved on relatively well in RL (crying the last day, but then heading right back out there and into more gigs), but sometimes (read: 99.9% of the time) I STILL wish he were the Doctor NOW. *sigh*
Is that behavior selfish, or yet another example of a person being unkind to Matt just because he's not David? Gosh, I hope not. :(
I don't consider it selfish -- everyone has their favourites. *grin*
I've only gotten into Doctor Who recently, and watched series five before I got a chance to watch the earlier ones. Some of his scenes in Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead are making my favourites list easily!
Now, THAT has to be an interesting experience. Seeing 11 and Amy and Rory BEFORE Nine and Ten and Rose, Martha, and Donna, and Wilf, Sylvia, Jackie, and Mickey. I can't imagine what it be be like to go backwards like that
( ... )
And yes. Very sad. I cry now, even though I know that David's thankfully moved on to perhaps greener pastures. And that he IS still around. But, he'll ALWAYS be the Doctor to me (and to you too, it appears)! :D *hug of solidarity*
