Obligatory Princess Bride reference. Yadda. Yadda. Yadda. ;)

Moving on...

And no, this isn't a kissing book. So sorry to disappoint you, Fred Savage.

Now, I'm really moving on....

What follows is a new meme, one that I BORROWED (read: stole *lol*) from one of my best good buddies, namely sheerpoetry:

LAYER ONE: "PERSONAL STATS"
Name: Sharma
Birth place ( Read more... )

meme for sheerpoetry, meme fun

Hey Maria dearie! Haven't heard from you in a minute! How are you enjoying the Windy City so far? And how's life going for you these days as well? :S ...And oops! :( Sorry about that. I was editing the entry & the cut jumped out of being a cut, so I had to redo the whole thing. Is it working NOW though? 'Cuz it seems to be finally all fixed up on my end. *hopeful look*

~Sharma, sending more apologies your way...

No need for apologies, just thought you should know. It's working now.

The Windy City treats us very well. I update my LJ every day so you can have a better idea of what's going on clicking on the Chicago rocks tag, probably. The cats are super happy because we have the best Cat TV ever (=wildlife outside coming to the windows and such).

YAY for more frequent Cat TV! I hope something good is on every day and NOT JUST on Caturday... :D

And yay also foir the fact that The Windy City is treating well so far. I had a college friend who was born and partially raised in that area of the world and she liked it too. Only now she's in DC. ;) And she likes that as well. :) I think she likes it because of all the gov't history that's around there though. She prefers that to the mob/mafia-centered history that Chi-town is still mostly known for, I suppose.

*goes off to look at your tag* One quick thing before I go though. You near the Lake Front area at all? Or are you more inland? :S

Ohh, I have a fear of heights as well. Not a clue why.

I'm convinced when you sign up to be a college student, one of the things they don't tell you is that you get to pick two of three things- sleep, grades, or a social life.

I'm so doing this meme now :D

I really do believe that I was secretly dropped on my head as a baby from a high (relatively speaking, of course) place, and then just never got over it. That's why IIIII think I'm height-wary, anyway. *lol* Glad to know I'm not alone in this fear, however. *hugs you in commiseration*

As for the next topic you brought up? Actually...How about ONE of those three, instead of two? ;) Because "sleeping is boring." *says such in her best Benedict-Cumberbatch!Sherlock voice* *lol* And as for a social life? What is this thing of which you speak, for I have NEVER had that. *grin* *wink* I DID, however, get a-okay grades though, via the time-honored tradition of pulling all-nighters almost every weekday ad then crashing & burning almost every weekend. Ah, the college years.... *snorting laugh of mock-nostalgia*

YAY! :D Go on and do this meme then, chickadee! :D I can't wait to see YOUR answers! *goes off to look*

I had a bunk bed when I was younger, and I remember getting stuck with the top one...Which leads me to think I just fell out of bed a lot. Not that anything's really changed much.

I MEAN. I try to keep it to two of those, but meh. Sometimes, sleep is a little overrated and boring, but we can't all be highly functioning sociopaths who don't need sleep. Which would be appreciated sometimes with this whole sleeping thing, because who has time to sleep on weekends?

Already went and did it :D
