Writer's Block: People’s Choice - Can't I have a 4-Way Tie? No? Well, then...

...Hands down, it's gotta be Robert Downey Jr. :D

Despite what a lot of the so-called professional film critics might say, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows was a brilliant movie and a terriific, better-than-the-first sequel! :D And Robert was utterly adorable on the interview circuit as well. In short, I just think he's a really fun and funny and ( Read more... )

I HAVE MISSED YOU! D: I wondered where you were! I sent up smoke signals and asked Ouija boards! IT WAS SCARY AND SAD! D: I am such a drama queen...

...and I kind of figured that real life was keeping you busy. :D

I AGREE WITH EVERYTHING YOU SAID ABOUT YOUR FAVORITE CELEBS IN THIS ENTRY. Except I don't know who Nathan Fillion is. I will Google him tonight! But YES to SH: AGOS! YES to RDJ being adorable on the circuit, and YES to Susan being awesome, too!

Yes.

Now? IT IS TIME FOR BED. ♥ I am glad you're back (sort of), and look forward to picpsam part due! :3

What can I say; I am creative when I want to solve a problem! Should have just taken the easy road and sent the computer repair technician over to your house! Damn! I always forget the old saying, "When you hear hoof beats, think horses, not zebras." I thought of zebras, and reindeer, and even a camel (they sort of clop around with their feet...not really hooves...but not really feet? IDEK!). TAAAAAAAAAANGENT ( ... )

Ooooh how I love your posts ♥

I look forward to the picspam! :D

For your happiness and joy, I am going to FINALLY watch Sherlock Holmes tonight. I'll let you know what I think of it ;D

Since I don't actually know RDJ so well - I've only seen two movies with him, and I can't even remember the title of the second one XD - I can say that I agree with you about Nathan and Benedict and - OMG, DAVID TENNANT IS THE MOST PRECIOUSS HUMAN BEING EVER *draws hearts forever*
Sooo I'd say my favourite celeb of 2011 is definitely David Tennant, and Stana Katic too because she's so gorgeous and cute ♥

I hang my head in shame and admit that I also not have seen yet his version of Sherlock Holmes, but the first movie soon will be in the TV, I already saw ads. I also don't think I have seen any other movie with him.

My draw was easy, I only had to decide between John Barrowman and David Tennant. I love them both in different ways and for different reasons, but I think I love John just a tiny bit more for his overall personality. So, John won. The icon says it all ;)

Good choices, Antje, m'dear! :D I love John and David too. Obviously. *lol* ;)

Will you be able to see the new Sherlock movie in English though? Or will it be dubbed in German? Just curious. :S (I only ask because my friend, Antonella, of Italy, said that most everything is offically dubbed in Italian (aka the country's native language, and I was wondering if it was like that in Germany as well.)

Either way I hope you enjoy the first one. :D I actually have both of Robert's Iron Man movies and both of his Sherlock movies plus some interviews too, all of which is in their original, NON-dubbed English (though some French IS spoken in the first of the Sherlocks). If you want, I can always send them to you. ;) *wink*

And no worries on not having seen them yet. :) *hugs* A lot of places haven't shown them yet....

Tell me what you think once you see the first one though. :D And have you seen Benedict's TV version yet??? :S ...As TV sometimes travels faster than film these days. ;)

That is true, everything is dubbed in Germany. The dubbing is of good quality (not like France where a woman spoke MacGyver, I have been told) or in Poland where only one man is doing all characteres... So, we get good actors who put a lot of emotion in there. Still, it is not the same, sometimes jokes cannot be translated and such, and it is especially weird when there is German in the English original for example. Like that movie with Matt Smith about Christopher Isherwood, which was set in Berlin ( ... )

Why can't there be a four-way tie? I think four men would be even more fun than just one. ;)

And currently I'd have to have a tie between two Scottish men - David Tennant and Robert Carlyle. I'm not going to choose. So there.

Yep, FOUR men WOULD be more fun, wouldn't they, Chloris? ;) *slightly wicked, completely mischevious wink*

And - YAY!!!!! - Scotsmen rock! :D Especially when they're initials are DT or RC.

I must admit though, I didn't fall in love with RC until I saw him in a Samuel L. Jackson starring joint called Formula 51 (released in 2002). He was adorable in that. Cursing up a storm and hilarious too. And obsessed with football (ie soccer). And muy sexy. So, if you've never seen that movie, then you totally should. ;) You won't regret it, even if it IS a bit of an odd film. You'll see... *wink* ;)

I've only seen a few clips of it online but I'll keep an eye out for it! I'm not surprised to hear that it's rather odd. That seems to be Carlyle's favorite thing. :)

PS HINT: David was also in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. *wink* ;)Not sure whether that's a recommendation... *g* A lot of people do know him only from this role and you get weird looks when you tell them you are a DT fan ( ... )
