A Poem
So, I'm not big on sharing poetry. Its kind of personal and I don't like opening up. Still, I was pretty proud of this one. It was an assignment to keep the form of a poem called "An Effort at Speech Between Two People" but put in your own content. Here we go...

Wow! That is an awesome poem. (And I'm not really one to enjoy poetry overmuch). A nice, pleasant melancholy. Very open - which is good because poets who can't open their souls and let it all spill out generally suck - and not just regular suck, either. We're talking donkey show suckage.
A lot of loneliness and isolation. It's hard to imagine, because those who know you certainly are better for having known you. You have a lot to offer, and I'm still amazed that no one has figured that out, yet. Have faith, though. Sometimes pain is the only way to happiness. Of course, if I told myself that, I'd have to b*tch-slap myself for it. Being on the same path, I know how you feel...
