Bristol, UK used to be a busy port and industrial centre but is about five miles up river and so the shipping has now moved to the coast - the dockside buildings are now being converted to city centre housing - some very expensive.
There are also some great bars and retaurants.
There are now lots of footpaths and cycle ways and at least a dozen new bridges have been built - there are some great designs - this one has a sort of suspension bridge construction but it wasn't possible to show it all in this picture - I think I've posted pictures of some of these new bridges in the past - I'll try to post some more - I love them.
