I spent most of my free gaming time these past six weeks playing through the new DS remake of Dragon Quest IV, and late last night, I finally completed it. I mean, really completed it. As in

hey, I just wanted to say, awesome blog. And I'm amazed that DQ4 was so short, even with the extras! I can remember logging 100+ hours in DQ7, and still not completing everything (stupid God, being so strong...)

I really admire your commitment to blogging all these great games right from Tokyo. And to think you've lived there for 7 years...amazing! I'm interested from a personal standpoint, as I'd also like to live in Japan someday, maybe doing translating for a company. What kind of job has allowed you the security to stay there so long?
