It's a string that is connected from the center of the bikini top to the collar piece, presumably in order to keep the collar's point laying flat and in line with her cleavage, rather than risk it roaming around and looking retarded.

that's almost *exactly* what i was going to say - i've done it, more than once. given her costume, the black line doesn't look bad, but for the record, it's possible to find them in various flesh colors and translucent [mostlt translucent, anyhoo...]. it also keeps the *top* in place.

she did a great job - or, whoever made her costume. i presume it was her, because of her smirk :)
