Oh, I love the Molly characterization. It's perfect! And just what was that charm that Sirius sent up the landing? ;)

As for that charm - I actually cut out the 'explanation' because - well, it was a total tangent and it ruined the mood and the flow of the scene. (Can't interrupt sex to muse on past pranks after all! *g*) But I'll probably write the story about it one of these days, (the idea has been sitting all by its lonesome in a file on my harddrive for ages) since it was a marauder-created spell while they were at Hogwarts, adapted from combining a couple of different spells - basically Confundus and Imperturbable. Very useful in keeping people from wandering down into the common room at night, (or in this case down into the living room!) among other things! *g* Not only is there a barrier, but people forget they even tried to get through it. *g* Unfortunately, neither James nor Sirius have told me what the hell they call it! Bastards! :)

Oh, I agree that it would have distracted the reader for the "hawt boylove", too. I can't wait to see it explained in a fic, though. Preferably a Remus/Sirius-in-the-common-room-or-other-public-place!fic. ;)

LOL Oh, the hardship of writing hot boysex in the common room! How ever shall I manage? *g* I'll get to it one of these days. Hopefully sooner than later.
