Gukubus Version 1 Gukubus Version 2 Pairing: DaeLo
Rated: M
Length: 600
“You’re shaking again.”
Zelo dug his nails into his palms and bit down so sharply on his cheek that the warm sensation of blood slid across his tongue.
“It’s been two days.” Daehyun mopped carefully over the sweat dotting the clammy boy’s forehead. “How much longer can you hold out?”
“Until it passes.” He closed his eyes and breathed deeply but soon realized his mistake when the scent of Daehyun’s shampoo entered his system. A high-pitched whine left his lips before he could stop it. “Fuck.”
Daehyun sighed in frustration. “I’m not an idiot, Zelo. We both know exactly how to get you through this and being a stubborn little asshole isn’t how to do it.”
He hated Yongguk for doing this to him. Even more than he hated him for being a demon. That he could handle. A spell and a really good knife could take care of that easily. But turning him into a sniveling sex-hungry whore was just one step too far. He wanted to tear that smirking smile right off of his face. Pull handfuls of the incubus’s flaming red hair out of his skull and shove it down his throat and then set the strands on fire until he burned from the inside out.
“Going to send him straight to hell.” He choked out, trying desperately to ignore the licks of desire crawling down his skin. Finding Daehyun had been the best and worst thing to happen to him in a while. Sure the tiny little witch saved his life but the cost was that Zelo was now going through his withdrawals with a very sexy, very willing partner catering to his every need.
“And we will. I promise.” His heart rate skyrocketed as Daehyun smoothed his sweat-matted away from his face, lips curled up into a knowing smile. “But right now we need to take care of you and get you out from under his spell.” Zelo whined when Daehyun moved away from him, his fingers unconsciously reaching for the boy’s warm body. “You have two options. You either suffer through the after-effects of being an incubus’s slave for two weeks. That will be another two or three days of being miserable.” Daehyun’s hands deftly undid his belt and slowly slid it out of the straps, his eye watching Zelo’s clenched jaw and thinned lips closely. “Or you let me help and you’re all better by the end of the night.”
He ached with need for the feel of the smaller body underneath his. Lips tracing the line of his hips and teeth tasting the flawless skin of his neck. The only thing holding him back was the knowledge that Daehyun was a stranger and hadn’t asked to stumble upon him. The angel that kidnapped him from Yongguk’s nest was teasing him and using his withdrawals as a weapon to draw his name out of him. She would have easily killed him rather than let him run free. Daehyun had saved him. And now he was asking to do it again.
“Come here.” The commanding tone came out of nowhere, shocking even Daehyun, the cocky smile on his lips faltering under Zelo’s order. “Now.”
Daehyun dropped to his knees and crawled forward until he was snug atop of Zelo’s tightly wound body. “Is it weird if I want you to call me doctor?”
Zelo flipped them over, trapping the smaller boy under his arms and grinning slyly at the rapid heartbeat fluttering under his chest. “What’s weird is that you think my mouth is going to be free enough to call you anything.”

Images of a brown-haired boy with a wide smile and strong hands that traced his body and made him shake with want raced through his brain but Himchan couldn’t even remember what his voice sounded like. Or if he was younger or older than him. Age didn’t matter now, not anymore.
“Youngjae?” He reached for the ghostly image in his mind and sniffed the air with disappointment when the only scents he caught were their own.
“Not yet.” Yongguk, the man who made him this way, he told himself to remember that information for later, grimaced with the effort of traveling with a newbie and demon who was too far gone to know how to do it himself. “Do you not know how to do anything you’re supposed to? It’s going to take us hours to get home with me hauling both of you.”
The small boy clinging to Yongguk’s hand (Jong? Jong something, Himchan was too keyed up in memories of Youngjae to remember the little things), turned to him with a comforting smile. “We’ll get you back to Youngjae. Just relax and let Yongguk concentrate.”
“It’d be quicker if we were summoned.” Yongguk muttered under his breath. “His desire weighs a ton.”
Jongup frowned in thought at his words. “Youngjae could summon us in about fifteen minutes, right? As long as he had a piece of us to use?”
Yongguk shook with exhaustion and managed to get them sixty kilometers from where they were, collapsing in a huff the second they appeared in the dark field. “More like ten minutes for a complete summon. But if I show up to give him something of mine he would stab me in a heartbeat. If Himchan wasn’t so damn horny I could have us there in a few minutes but he’s weighing us down.”
“Yongguk, he took a chunk of my hair when you jerked me away from him.” Jongup’s eyes lit up at knowing he had information that Yongguk didn’t. Ever since he had been turned he felt like a child always asking a parent for help but now he was the smarter one. “I can call him and tell him to summon me and bring you two along, right?”
The idea sounded good in theory but Yongguk still preferred the element of surprise on their side. In all the times he’d dealt with hunters he knew it was ‘kill first and ask questions later’.
“He won’t hurt me.” The worry in his mate’s eyes was almost adorable. “Youngjae cares about me and if I tell him we’re bringing Himchan back he’ll be excited.”
“Fine.” Yongguk turned to Himchan and stabbed a finger in his chest. “You sit down and stay right here while I take Jongup to the nearest town. Do not move.”
Himchan didn’t even hear him, his face buried in his knees as he chanted Youngjae’s name into his torn jeans.
They smoked out and hoped Himchan would listen to them in the short time they would be away.
“I don’t have any money for a payphone.” Jongup dug through his jeans and wished he had kept his wallet for just a few hours longer. “I don’t even know what country we’re in. Do you know what language to speak?”
Yongguk laughed at his still so very human innocence. “You’re a demon now, Jongup. We don’t need money or languages to get what we want.” Motioning for him to follow, Yongguk strolled confidently into a nearby restaurant. He grinned at the woman who popped up asking a question in a language Jongup thought of as gibberish. “Watch and learn, Jongup.”
The sudden change from the sweet and caring man to sly and sexual incubus was something Jongup didn’t think he could ever learn. The sparkling eyes and wide smile somehow turned darker and older and held promises that Jongup would kill him over if he ever tried to use on her.
After only a few moments of soft whispering in her ear and a lazy finger dragging its way down the curve of her shoulder she was already shoving her cell phone into his chest and stammering in her unknown language a mouthful of words that Jongup figured weren’t child-friendly.
“Got it.” Yongguk handed it back towards him, keeping his dark eyes glued to the waitresses and refusing to let her look away. “Hurry before someone comes in. I’ll keep her distracted.”
He growled under his breath at the word. Their versions of distracted were obviously very different.
“I’m not going to do anything to her.” The other man’s voice was bright with amusement. “As long as she’s looking at me I’ve got her subdued. Don’t worry, baby.”
He still didn’t like it but he trusted Yongguk so he left the restaurant with a frown and the phone. For all he knew Youngjae was sound asleep right now, but he doubted his old neighbor and friend would mind this phone call.
“Hello?” Youngjae’s confused voice made Jongup grin in spite of the situation they were in. It was familiar and comforting and it was like they hadn’t spent the last few weeks apart.
“Jae.” He wanted to say more, tell him that he was sorry he left him alone and that he had missed him but all he could manage was one syllable before his throat closed up on him. Youngjae was quiet on the other end, but Jongup could hear his breathing speed up. “Hi.”
The older boy was always the stronger one in their friendship, always the one to take care of him and keep them alive in dangerous situations. But now Jongup heard him break down for the first time since Himchan had left.
“Are you still human?” He finally managed to ask, coughing to clear the outburst away. “Please tell me you’re not one of them.” Jongup’s silence gave him the answer. “I’ll rip his heart out.”
“I already tried that.” Jongup joked. “He’s pretty tough to kill. But he’s growing on me so why don’t you two just try to get along?”
Youngjae sniffed and took a second to compose himself. Jongup knew he was embarrassed for his tears and let him have the dignity of silence.
“I don’t know if I can protect you. From Zelo and Daehyun. Once they find out Yongguk’s back on Earth and turning people they won’t be happy.”
“We’ll be fine. Now that he has me he won’t need to hunt anymore so we’ll stay off the radar.” Jongup chewed on his lower lip wondering how to word the reason he had actually called. “Youngjae, the day I was taken you had a hold of me and ripped out my hair when you tried to pull me back. Do you happen to still have that?”
“Of course. I was waiting a bit to summon you because if you were in Yongguk’s nest you’d be out of your mind for a while and I love you Jongup but I have no desire to be around you when you’re a sex slave.” He gagged playfully over the phone so that Jongup knew he was joking. “I knew he’d either turn you or play with you for a bit and then send you back up top when he was done. Why?”
He gripped the payphone’s cord tightly in his hand and hoped Youngjae wouldn’t kill his mate for the condition they were bringing Himchan home in. “I need you to give us about a ten minute head start and then use it. Make it strong. You have to pull in three bodies.”
“Three?” His voice was even, but Jongup could hear the hint of hope behind the word.
“We’re bringing Himchan home, Jae.”

Jongup could feel the pull of Youngjae’s spell the second he started it. He gripped Yongguk’s shirt and ground his teeth together as he felt a tether wrapping around him and trying to yank them oceans away.
“Hold on to me.” Yongguk’s voice was soft in his ear as he murmured to him to relax and just let the summoning happen naturally. “Himchan. Grab onto Jongup. We need to both be attached to him for the spell to pull us all through.” The second Himchan’s hands wrapped around Jongup’s shoulders they heard a snarl rip through Yongguk’s lips. “Your arms have to be holding on but your dick can back up a little bit.”
“Sorry.” Himchan was still weak enough that he could barely stand on his own so Yongguk’s harsh words didn’t affect him. He took a step back from Jongup, but was forced to rest his head on the smaller boy as dizziness thrummed through his brain. “Where’s Youngjae?”
Their ears popped from the pressure changing around them. They could hear Youngjae’s quiet voice chanting spell but it was still too distant to drag them through. Himchan whined when he heard the soft voice out loud for the first time in years. For so long he had imagined the gentle tone in his ears as he passed the days in his mountains. The first year was the hardest because he could remember every touch, every kiss, every night spent wrapped up in Youngjae’s arms. Over time the memories faded away until he only had fleeting snapshot memories of something he was supposed to remember but couldn’t. And then eventually, there was nothing. How could he have forgotten him?
“Almost time.” Yongguk slid his fingers up Jongup’s silky back and jerked him closer, away from Himchan’s chest. “Stay behind me just in case Youngjae attacks.”
“I’d rather die beside you than watch you get sent under.”
Yongguk felt a surge of affection in his chest for his mate. The years would slowly eat at his innocence and childlike naivety until Jongup was as hard as him and Yongguk wished there was a way to stop that from happening. He knew from the second he had seen him that they were supposed to be joined. He was old enough to know destiny and fate were changeable and not set in stone but the first time he had witnessed the bright smile on Jongup’s lips and the seen the way his eyes curled down when he grinned, his heart was done for.
“Jongup’s.” He whispered against his lips.
“Mine.” Jongup murmured back just before Youngjae’s summoning spell deposited them on the floor of his living room.
Himchan jumped up with a growl, body alert and thrumming as he saw Youngjae for the first time in his new demonic form. The two others were unwanted and unwelcome and were too close to his prey. “Move.”
The unused voice was rougher than Youngjae remembered. He blinked in shock at the ragged version of Himchan in front of him. The tattered clothes and unwashed body were all his human eyes were able to discern but Yongguk and Jongup could see the barely restrained hunger flickering wildly in Himchan’s charcoal eyes. “Himchannie?” He mumbled, taking a step forward before being blocked by Yongguk’s frame. “Baby?”
Himchan’s human side that had been trying to crawl its way back to the surface had disappeared again and what was left was pure need and want and desire and desperation. The only thoughts in his mind were how many times he could have the human before he broke him and what the warm flow of his blood would feel like in his throat.
“We didn’t think this through.” Jongup turned away in embarrassment when Youngjae started tugging shakily at the drawstring to his pajamas. The lure from Himchan was so strong that everyone in the room could feel it. A warm flame licking up their spines and oozing into their skin. “What happens if we let him loose?”
They watched Himchan stalk angrily across the living room floor, his eyes locked onto Youngjae’s wide ones and his lips curled up, teeth combing dangerously across his chapped lips.
“Well, he may hold him captive for a few days and dart in and out of consciousness depending on how much Youngjae’s suffering gets to him and maybe he pulls himself out of this and manages to release his hold or turn Youngjae.” Yongguk grimaced as another wave of heat enveloped him and he really hoped that wasn’t the sound of Youngjae’s shirt hitting the floor behind him. “Worst case scenario is he loses control and sucks him dry the second he grabs him.”
“That’s not an option I’m comfortable with.” Jongup replied tightly, his jaw clenched as he attempted to force out the unwanted thoughts of Himchan being drilled into his brain. The longer they stood motionless in the center of the room between them the more ravenous Himchan became with his desires. “Youngjae, are you okay back there?”
The muffled groan behind him was enough to let him know that even though Himchan’s spell on him was strong, Youngjae was still alert enough to know what was happening. “Too much.” He murmured, fingers slipping across his sweat-soaked chest. “Tell him to stop, Jongup.”
“Himchan.” Yongguk’s voice took on the dangerous tone that always made Jongup dizzy. “You’re frightening him. Turn it down.”
The incubus couldn’t hear him through his own needs, all he heard was Youngjae’s ragged breaths and the steady thump of his heart as it beat in exactly the same rhythm as his own.
“Stay in front of Youngjae, but not close enough to touch him. If Himchan loses control he’ll go right through you.” Yongguk warned as he left Jongup’s side to grab Himchan and slam him flat against the wall. “Kim Himchan. Look at me.” He let go of his arm and grabbed Himchan’s chin in his hands, forcing his face to the side. “What is your mate’s name?”
Himchan hissed, the sound ancient and terrifying. “Feed.” He sank his teeth into his bottom lip and shook as the blood stained his teeth. “Let me feed.”
“Not until I can trust you not to kill him.” He waited until Himchan grew more lax in his arms, the instinctual need to follow his sire’s orders overpowering everything else inside him. “You love him, Himchan. You put yourself through hell on Earth just because you couldn’t stand to touch anyone but him. If I let you go and you accidentally drain him it would kill you.”
The dark eyes trained on Yongguk blinked in confusion as the words finally started to register in his mind. “N-No. Take me back.” He struggled against Yongguk’s hold but the years of neglect had left him too weak to fight against the much stronger demon. “Get me away from him.”
“No!” Youngjae suddenly jumped forward forcing Jongup to break Yongguk’s rule and grab his arms to tug him back.”
The sight of another demon touching his mate brought a murderous calmness to Himchan’s expression. “Remove your hands before I rip them off.”
“Don’t take him back!” Youngjae had spent years searching for him, years alone and desperate and waiting, and he wasn’t going to lose this chance no matter what it took. “Let him go, please Yongguk, let him go. I don’t care what he does to me, I don’t care if he kills me, please don’t take him away from me again!”
Himchan dropped his head and turned his face to the wall in shame. “I don’t want to hurt you, Jae. I can’t.”
“You won’t hurt him if you keep yourself as human as possible.” When Himchan opened his mouth to argue, Yongguk shook his frail body in anger. “We may lose ourselves in this and we may be stuck like this forever with no promise of redemption or saving,” He flicked his eyes towards Jongup and smiled brightly at the boy who had given him a reason to keep going and who accepted him no matter how many horrible secrets he held. “But we can still remember right from wrong. Humans don’t have to be the only things in the world with a moral compass. You have to fight like hell to keep yourself on track but it’s worth it, it’s so worth it.”
Youngjae’s sobs from behind Jongup were loud in the quiet room as Yongguk waited for Himchan to pull himself together and be strong enough to reunite with the one he had been waiting so long for.
“Please don’t leave me again.”
The soft plea brought Himchan to his knees, eyes still so very dark and engulfing, but his mind was clear and he ordered himself to stay calm and alert because Youngjae was more important than his hunger. “God, Jae. I’m not going anywhere.” He stretched his hands up to catch the smaller man as he jumped forward, arms and legs engulfing him, so strong against his weak body. Lips pressed hotly against his own, his jaw, his throat, the dimple under his eye that only appeared when he was smiling, so he must have been but none of that mattered, worthless muscles weren’t what was important. It was his soul, it was Youngjae’s soul, it was their skin sliding against each others, it was their unspoken words that were spoken with kisses on fingertips and eyes that never moved away from each other even when the other two men in the room awkwardly excused themselves and disappeared in a flash of smoke.
“Welcome home.” Youngjae whispered reverently against his mate’s palm.
