Medicine
Pairing: HimUp
Rated: PG
Length: 750 words
Prompt:
Imagine Person B of your OTP getting sick and refusing to take their medicine unless Person A gives it to them mouth-to-mouth. At first Person A is reluctant to but eventually gives in and gives Person B their medicine mouth-to-mouth “If you don’t do what the doctor said you’re never going to get better.” Jongup frowned angrily at the pathetic boy whimpering on the couch. “You’re supposed to take this twice a day for the next five days and I refuse to do this every single time.”
Himchan shook his head and buried his face into the pillow. “Don’t wanna. Tastes like puke.”
“I can mix it in with some juice. Would you take it better that way?”
The thought of sugary juice in his stomach made Himchan moan. “Go ‘way. No medicine.”
Jongup was finally at the end of his rope as he manhandled his boyfriend up into a sitting position. “Kim Himchan if you don’t willingly take this I swear to god I will force it down your throat. And when you’re recovered you’ll sleep on the couch for a week.”
He blinked blearily at the angry expression on Jongup’s face. “You’re not supposed to be mean to someone who’s sick. It’s a rule.”
“Take. The. Medicine.”
Himchan clamped his lips together tightly when the dosage cup prodded against his mouth. “Nuh-uh.”
“What do I have to do to get you to take this?” Jongup pinched the bridge of his nose, breathing deeply to calm himself before he lost his temper. “Anything you want.”
“You give it to me.” He grinned slyly at the angry boy.
The cup was held out again. “Then here. Take it.”
“No.” Himchan pointed to his boyfriend’s lips as they thinned in exasperation. “You give it to me.”
“Are you kidding me?” Jongup narrowed his eyes. “Are you seriously trying to come on to me after you just vomited eight times in the last five hours and you have a one hundred and two fever?”
Himchan pouted. “You said anything.”
Jongup grumbled under his breath but he knew Himchan had to take the antibiotics and if this was the only way then he would do it. Sometimes he wished his stomach wouldn’t flutter so much every time his boyfriend asked him to do something. Being in a relationship sucked.
He closed his eyes and tipped the cup back, grimacing at the chalky taste of the liquid. Before Himchan could even blink his chin was forced down and Jongup was pouring the medicine into his mouth, tongue making a dam between his lips so that none escaped.
He probably would have eventually followed the doctor’s orders, Himchan wasn’t an idiot, but taking the medicine and having Jongup’s full lips pressed over his and his tongue sliding inside his mouth to make sure it was all swallowed was a hell of a lot better than just taking it straight.
Jongup was satisfied everything had been swallowed and moved to pull away but Himchan wasn’t done yet. “There’s still some left in your mouth.” He mumbled, pulling the other boy back by the collar and rejoining their lips. He didn’t care if the frantic movements and seconds passing without catching a breath would make him dizzier and sicker, all he cared about at this moment was Jongup’s muffled sounds of pleasure as he explored every inch of his mouth and licked into each corner.
“I think you got it all.” Jongup sounded amused but breathless when Himchan pulled back to take a quick breath.
“Not yet.” He replied, pulling the smaller body overtop his so that he could sink back comfortably into the couch. Jongup always fit perfectly overtop him and he was better than any heated blanket as his palms curled protectively over Himchan’s hips.
“You’re burning up, baby.” His shirt had ridden up so that Jongup’s thumb could trace circles into his hipbones. “Go to sleep and rest.”
He whined in disapproval because what he needed was more bare skin and a sweaty Jongup whispering how much he loved him against his neck, but his eyes were already heavy and his hands had somehow moved from his boyfriend’s body back to the couch.
“We can continue this when you get better. I promise.” Jongup pushed Himchan towards the back of the couch so that he could scoot in next to him. He reached up to pull the blanket down and covered the shivering boy tightly, tucking in the corners and making sure his entire body was warm.
“Sorry for being a baby.” Himchan muttered under his breath as he finally started to drift back into a much needed sleep. “Love you.”
Sometimes Jongup couldn’t get enough of the flutters Himchan made in his belly.
Being in a relationship was amazing.

Length: 900
Prompt:
Imagine Person A of your OTP whispering things in Person B’s ears at the least convenient times. The first few times they were said with a teasing grin. They were murmured right before they went on stage or in the last few seconds before their interview mic’s went live.
“If you were a laser you would be set on stunning.”
“You look cold. Want to use me as a blanket?”
“If there was a zombie apocalypse I’d kill you last.”
“Santa’s lap isn’t the only place to make wishes.”
Himchan always burst out laughing at the cheesy lines Jongup would shoot at him. He knew they were to help calm his nerves and distract him because no matter how many years they had been in the spotlight he still came down with horrible stage fright.
It got to where he actually looked forward to the two seconds that Jongup was next to him. He would start to gravitate himself in his direction the second he could because Jongup’s knuckles would drag down the back of his hand as he whispered the newest line he had found and Himchan couldn’t concentrate without those few precious moments of calm.
But then things changed.
Every time he moved towards him he could see Jongup backing away and not meeting his eyes. He racked his brain over and over trying to think of what he had done to anger his bandmate but couldn’t figure out what it would be.
For weeks Jongup ignored him and Himchan felt so dejected that it was starting to show in the way he performed and in the fake smiles he gave to the fans. Even Daehyun had asked him several times what was wrong and he never noticed anything unless it was smacked into his face.
“Are you mad at me?” He finally built up the courage to ask Jongup why he had been avoiding him. “Did I do something wrong?”
Jongup grinned, but it didn’t quit meet his eyes. “Of course not. Don’t be stupid.”
He turned to leave but was stopped by Himchan’s arm around his wrist and his narrowed eyes aimed at his face. “Whatever I did I’m sorry, Jongup. Really.”
“It’s not what you did.” Jongup hesitated, lips parted as he tried to answer. “It’s what you didn’t do.”
That was the vaguest answer in the world, Himchan told himself eight hours later as he stared up at the ceiling and tried to ignore his roommate’s deep breathing on the other side of the room. His arms were crossed over his chest and he chewed his lips into a chapped mess as he went through every conversation he and Jongup had together for the last few weeks. They barely had time to speak to each other outside of practice and their other responsibilities. By the time they made it to their shared bedroom at night they were so exhausted they both fell right asleep.
To be honest the only time they ever spoke without one of the other members hearing was when Jongup gave him those ridiculous pick-up lines.
Himchan sat up with a start. Was Jongup upset over that? Was he supposed to reciprocate? Did Jongup have the same stage fright that he did and was angry that Himchan never tried to put him at ease?
He quietly got out his laptop from under the bed and hoped the light didn’t wake his roommate up.
He had some websites to search.
--
“McDonald’s would name their new sandwich McGorgeous after you.”
Jongup turned in surprise at the low voice whispering in his ear. “What?”
"Are your legs tired? Because you’ve been running through my mind all day."
This time Jongup smiled, his body relaxing as Himchan’s fingers stroked down his arms. “I thought you were getting annoyed with me so I stopped.”
Himchan rubbed his cheek against Jongup’s jaw, relief flooding through him that they were okay again. “Your stupid pick-up lines calmed me down. They gave me something to laugh about when I thought I was going to throw up.”
“Really?” Jongup’s eyes glinted with interest, but Himchan was still buried against his neck and wondering how he never knew the other boy smelled like vanilla and aftershave all at once. “I’ll have to remember that.”
--
Himchan looked out at the stage, bigger than any they’d ever performed on before. He could feel his stomach growling with discontent and his sweaty fists were squeezed so tightly there were nail marks in his skin. Most of the other members were already waiting by the curtain but he stayed in the back and shuffled on the balls of his feet trying to keep his body from freezing up.
He felt someone stop behind him, a warm chest holding him still and soft shushing sounds filling his ear.
“Jongup?” He didn’t even have to look to know it was his roommate pressed against him, he’d recognize his scent anywhere now. Instead of relaxing him, this time it filled his head with fog and the butterflies in his stomach flapped even harder. A quiet moan left his lips the second he felt breath against the shell of his ear and he was pulled harder into Jongup’s body. “We have….” He broke off with a gasp. Jongup’s teeth scraped against his pulse and this was not what they had agreed on. “We have to go on in ten seconds.”
Jongup grinned against his skin. “I’m an astronaut and my next mission is to explore Uranus.”
