Part One Yongguk was so busy at work the next day that he never got a chance to start the new story, but he enjoyed staying busy so he didn’t mind. The little texts throughout the day from Daehyun (he’d made sure and put his name in his contacts) didn’t even bother him because he was on such a work high.
But then he arrived home and there was no loud Jongup to keep him busy or to fill his night with laughter. He threw his briefcase onto the table, loosened his tie and sat back on the couch with his phone in his hand.
Lovin’ It at McDonald’s by Kekemato
He didn’t care that the stranger came into his store every week with a permanent scowl. He didn’t mind that he could see him recoil every time they spoke. He knew only one thing.
He wanted that man to fuck him against the jungle gym.
Yongguk frowned and scrolled back to the top of the story to recheck the tags. ‘Fluff’ was most definitely listed but this was reading like it was going to venture into hardcore smut in a second. He almost clicked out of it, but for some reason the allure of a tryst with a McDonald’s employee made his throat dry and his hands sweaty.
Not because of Daehyun though. He hated that boy.
Once he found out the customer’s name was Gabe he finally had a name to put to the sculpted cheekbones, the full lips that he wanted to drag across his skin, the unruly brown hair that was in definite need of some conditioner.
He reached up and felt his own hair. That reminded him he needed to buy some new conditioner, his had been empty for a couple weeks.
Sometimes he thought his teasing went too far, but he loved seeing the furrow in Gabe’s brow and the tightening in his lips and when he walked away his back was stiff and it made his ass clench with every step.
He wondered what it’d be like to grab onto that ass and squeeze as he was fucked on top of the slide.
Yongguk swallowed when the image of him and Daehyun entered his mind. The button-up shirts and tight green pants thrown behind them as he yanked his head back and mouthed at the soft flesh on his neck.
Suddenly the story on his phone was about them. The narrator became Daehyun and Gabe was a little harder to stretch to the name Yongguk but he was pretty damn desperate and didn't care. Daehyun was the one whining under the palm of his hand and he was the mysterious stranger grunting with every snap of his hips.
He held the phone steady in one hand and used the other to slip underneath the hem of his boxers. It only took a few paragraphs of Gabe and the mysterious McDonald's employee's illicit affair to have him panting as he jerked into his fist.
What brought him over the edge was the sudden text right when he got to the end of the story. A winky face and a picture of a sleepy Daehyun, happy smile on his lips as he laid his head on his pillow.
Yongguk pretended it wasn’t Daehyun’s name he groaned as he came all over his fingers.
The shame didn’t come till later the next day, when Yongguk opened up his phone internet to see the chapter he left off on.
Oh god.
He quickly shut his phone, throwing it away from him as if the distance could somehow erase the truth.
He had jacked off to the fucking McDonald’s manager.
Yongguk hissed and lowered his head in his hands. He doesn’t, he really doesn’t normally do things like that. Hell, there was a reason that Yongguk stuck to reading literary romance that never ventured into the full sexual realms.
That was it. It was just because Yongguk wasn’t used to reading smut. That’s why his body reacted like that, of course. Not because he was actually thinking about someone else. Not because every time he read about the author wanting to do inappropriate things to the stranger Gabe, that Yongguk couldn’t help himself from fantasizing doing those exact same actions with Daehyun.
It was the story’s fault.
But... Yongguk looked over at his phone anxiously. That didn’t mean he had to stop reading…
---
When the next Tuesday finally rolled around, Yongguk had read five out of the six chapters to the story, each time resulting in the same thing: pleasuring himself to the thought of Daehyun.
It probably didn’t help that the other seemed to be keen on texting him throughout his day, sometimes asking him about his day, sometimes taking pics of himself making faces at McDonald’s, even sometimes just riling Yongguk up with a mere semi colon and parenthesis.
It was maddening that someone so keen on bugging him and pointing out his most embarrassing moments, was making Yongguk hard in his boxers and straining with his hands for relief.
The thought of having to physically face Daehyun at McDonald’s that day scared the shit out of Yongguk. What if he accidently called the other Kekemato, or stared at his work pant-covered ass too noticeably, or worse: mentioned that he came in the shower earlier this morning to the thought of his damn eye smile?
Taking a deep breath, Yongguk looked ahead through the car window with strong determination. No, for once, he was NOT going to make a fool of himself in front of the other. Not today.
The remaining five minutes it took to drive from Jongup’s school to the McDonald’s was filled with Yongguk mentally chanting that mantra to himself, even managing to block out Jongup’s excited voice next to him retelling him one of his latest Himchan stories.
And when the two finally entered the fast food joint, Jongup already running off toward the playground frantically and Yongguk setting his strides confidently toward the ordering counter, Yongguk actually thought he could act normal and cool, and even a bit indifferent around the manager.
But Yongguk never factored into his well laid out equation that instead of taking orders behind the counter that day, that Daehyun would instead be on his knees bent over, perky ass high in the air as he scrubbed eagerly at the tiled floor.
Instinctively, Yongguk’s hand reached down toward the buttons of his pants, only just stopping himself from pulling them down and relieving the sudden hard heat as he had grown accustomed to doing over the week.
As if sensing his crude thoughts, Daehyun’s head snapped up, and he peered over his shoulder at Yongguk, not failing to notice his hands clutched defensively at the edge of his pants.
“Hey.”
“G-Good afternoon.” He felt his ears burn at the stilted reply but it was too late to take it back and Daehyun’s lips were already curving up in amusement and goddammit Yongguk, take your damn hand off your pants!
Daehyun slowly got up to his feet and wiped his hands across his slacks leaving wet stains on the front. If he caught the way Yongguk’s Adam’s apple bobbed at his actions then for once he was kind enough not to make a big deal about it. “You’ve been coming in every week and you never order yourself anything but a water. Why don’t you make your kid go somewhere you like?”
He motioned vaguely towards the play area. “He really likes your nephew.”
“Ah.” Daehyun smiled, a real smile, not one of those smirks Yongguk was growing accustomed to. This one was wide and proud and showcased the deep dimple in his cheek. “Himchan’s a good kid. He comes in twice a week after school since I get off earlier than normal. Having Jongup to look forward to every week has been good for him, gives him focus.” He wrinkled his nose and Yongguk had to fight back the urge to smooth it out. “He’s a little hyperactive.”
A shriek of childish laughter came from the ball pit and they both turned in time to see Jongup giggling as Himchan buried him under the multicolored balls.
“Why don’t you bring him over sometime?” Yongguk felt the words explode out of him, not sure if he regretted them yet or not. “Like a… Like a play date?”
Daehyun bit his lips, smile creeping back up, and nodded. “Sure. I’ll text you.” He rung in Yongguk’s usual order and made change quietly. “Or you can text me. First. For once.”
It was true, he had been the recipient of 90% of Daehyun’s texts, only sending a few ones here and there when a question was posed, but no matter how many times he clicked open their chat box he never quite knew what to say. How’s it going? Work been good? Read any good smuts lately? Oh by the way I jacked off to your picture last night.
He took the tray and stood awkwardly for a second, both of them staring at each other, neither knowing how to end the interaction. Finally Yongguk just sighed and exited the main lobby and into the play area.
He watched Jongup and Himchan hold hands as they ran through the jungle gym and completely ignore him and his bag of food.
I might be able to convince Jongup’s mother to let me have him for the weekend. Sound good?
Daehyun placed a hand on his pocket when he felt his phone vibrate, immediately seeking Yongguk out with a raised eyebrow.
He motioned for him to look and breathed a sigh of relief when Daehyun read it and gave him a thumbs up.
It was only when he had sat back in his seat and sipped leisurely at his water did the ramifications of what he just did hit him.
Daehyun was going to be inside his home.
Convincing Jongup’s mother to let him take care of him for the weekend was easier than Yongguk expected (Yongguk mentally noting that he should probably have asked to do this before), and after no more than a five minute phone call with her, and it was official.
Yongguk quickly texted Daehyun his address before he could lose his nerve, then deposited his phone back in his pocket. Maybe if he didn’t see his text or Daehyun’s response, then it wouldn’t really sink in that he just asked the guy he got off to at night to come into the place where he sleeps.
(And showers… )
Yongguk wasn’t sure if the shiver his body made instinctively at that thought was because of fear or lust.
Seconds later, his phone vibrated loudly in his pocket, and completely forgetting his new method of “out of sight, out of mind”, Yongguk quickly reached down and pulled up the text.
Can’t wait ;)
This time, Yongguk was sure he shivered for both reasons.
---
The days till Saturday were exceptionally long for him, especially with the lack of reading progress in Kekemato’s story. He knew if he read the final exhilarating chapter that it would be too difficult to look Daehyun in the face when he showed up. How was he supposed to relax and forget about his nervousness over his real life orgasm material coming over to his living space when he couldn’t even get to read about Gabe and Keke feeling each other up in public?
Yongguk liked to blame that for the reason for why he was so on edge come Saturday afternoon, and not because of the fact that despite having the reading material, Yongguk’s body had no trouble fantasizing about Daehyun to no end.
He couldn’t even blame the story, this time, and Yongguk didn’t want to think of the implications for that. Not one bit.
But when he opened the door to his apartment, an excited Jongup peering between his legs, to see Daehyun smiling before him, Himchan in tow, the reality hit Yongguk hard.
He liked Daehyun. Not Kekemato or River or any other fictional character. He liked Daehyun and his messy hair and his teasing jokes. He liked his smirking eyes and way too loud laugh. He liked how Daehyun could make him smile just from a simple text or a hello.
He liked Daehyun.
Too caught up in his own startling epiphany, he could only stand frozen in the door way until Daehyun huffed loudly and pushed his way past.
Touching his chest as he passed. Yongguk noticed.
Not trusting himself to speak coherently yet, Yongguk only watched as Daehyun surveyed his small little apartment, hands on his hips and hand holding up his chin.
“So this is where the Cowboy Daddy lives.” He poked at the leather couch with the tip of a finger. “It’s not bad. Little boring. But I kind of expected that.”
Yongguk watched the two boys run off to Jongup’s room, hands linked and identical grins on their tiny faces. A month ago he probably would have been offended by Daehyun’s words, but by now he knew the other was joking. Daehyun wouldn’t send him a dozen texts every day if he didn’t like at least some aspect of his boring personality.
“Do you want a drink?” He pointed towards the fridge. “I can get you some water. Or tea if you want that instead.”
“Tea sounds great.” Daehyun answered distractedly, still roaming around the room and inspecting every inch of it. He stopped at the bookcase of photos Yongguk had put up of him and Jongup through the years. The ones of them with Jongup’s mother had Daehyun frowning. “What happened between you and your wife?”
It might not have been any of his business, but Yongguk might have been slow but he wasn’t stupid. He could hear the note of apprehension in Daehyun’s voice when he asked.
“We were high school sweethearts who got married too soon.” Yongguk shrugged, pouring the water into the kettle and placing it on the stove. “Grew apart and decided we’d be happier divorced. She’s a great mom though and we still stay respectful to each other so everything worked out alright.” He snorted to himself as he reached into the top cabinet to grab the sugar (that had to stay out of Jongup’s reach for reasons). “Also, realizing at twenty years old that you might possibly be gay will ruin any marriage.”
Daehyun didn’t say anything but Yongguk could see the way his body responded to the news. His shoulders straightened and he slipped the determined look back onto his face as he headed towards the kitchen. “What kind of teas do you have?” His slender body was suddenly inserted into Yongguk’s space and he was so close that Yongguk could feel the heat of his body seeping into his side.
He silently held the box out and let Daehyun pick for himself, palm sliding over his arm as he reached forward to grab one.
They moved to the couch, Yongguk sitting all the way at the end and waiting for Daehyun to choose how close was acceptable for him to sit.
“Does my being here make you uncomfortable?” Daehyun stood in front of him, holding his steaming mug of tea and looking adorably befuddled.
“No.” Yongguk made the decision of where Daehyun would sit for him, grabbing the bottom of his shirt and tugging him down beside him. “Does being here with me make you bored?”
Daehyun smiled against the rim of his cup as he blew into the hot drink. “Not yet.” He slid his eyes towards Yongguk unashamedly and he ran his eyes down Yongguk’s sweater and all the way to his sock clad feet. “But you better take charge of keeping me entertained.”
Oh yeah, Yongguk could definitely do that. He opened his mouth to reply when Jongup’s door was throw open and two little boys with ruffled hair and shining eyes tumbled out.
“Daddy! You said we could order a pizza and me and Himchan are hungry!”
The two men sheepishly moved apart, avoiding each other eyes. Now was not the time.
“I’ll call the pizza place now.” Yongguk marched to the kitchen, determined not to notice the way Daehyun stared at his back as he left. At least, he thought it was his back…
Leaning against the counter, Yongguk breathed deeply, but every breath still smelled like cologne and cotton and just… Daehyun. The urge to grab the smaller boy and pin him over his quilted couch, even with two little kids playing monsters and aliens in the next room, was almost too much to bear. Yongguk wasn’t sure he could hold it back before he left…
Yongguk closed his eyes as the phone dialed in his ear, jumping in surprise at the soft touch to his hip. He looked down with big eyes to see Daehyun, smiling softly as he began to rub small circles into his back in an attempt at comfort. But the rub down was definitely not calming Yongguk down, and it took a few tries on the other end of the phone for him to drag his attention back to placing the order.
It was hard, trying to speak in a normal calm voice over the phone as the man of your wildest wet dreams ran his hands over his body. Yongguk’s breath hitched as Daehyun’s hand ran lower than before, brushing the top of the back of his pants. Daehyun bit his lip, trying not to smirk at the reaction. This was too much.
Some way or another, Yongguk made it through the call, and if asked, he wouldn’t be able to even tell what he ordered, or even if he told them the right address. Yongguk slowly turned around, coming chest to chest with the other. Pizza wasn’t the most important thing now anyways.
Drunk on pure feeling, Yongguk reached out and took Daehyun’s hands, running his thumb softly back and forth over his wrist, before tugging him even closer. All the teasing had stopped, and the two both knew that this was different, a moment that would change everything.
Yongguk looked down, eyes dark and hazy, forgetting everything else but the feel of Daehyun pressed to his body and how pretty Daehyun’s lips looked right now, slightly open and breathing loudly.
They both leaned forward, arms reached out for better leverage as the distance closed. And then they were finally kissing, hesitant lips at first nervously barely brushing, before hungrily pressing together tightly.
Yongguk moaned in his throat, angling his neck down to be even closer as Daehyun began to nibble on his bottom lip. This was SO much more than every fantasy Yongguk had ever had.
“Yongguk…” Daehyun panted against him, hands squeezing his shirt tightly in his clenched fists. “I need to tell you something.”
He was too far into the moment to even hear Daehyun’s words; all he could think about was how soft the nape of his neck was under his large hand and how sweetly the needy mews and whimpers were coming out of Daehyun’s mouth.
“It’s important.” Daehyun protested, even as his head tipped back to give Yongguk more access to his flesh.
“I’m sure it is.” There really wasn’t anything Daehyun could tell him right now that would make him want to stop so Yongguk didn’t even attempt to act like he was listening as he pressed Daehyun further into the cabinet, fingers curling into his wavy hair and tongue slipping between the seam of his lips as he kissed him breathless.
“That’s gross.”
“I think your Daddy’s trying to eat Uncle Daehyun’s face off.”
They jumped apart with red cheeks, Daehyun subtly reaching up to wipe his face off before hiding behind Yongguk’s back in embarrassment.
Jongup giggled under his hand, the other one firmly clasped with his new best friend’s. “Daddy has a boyfriend!”
Himchan jumped up and down in excitement. “If he marries Uncle Daehyun then we would be cousins!” The two boys screamed loudly as Yongguk and Daehyun’s faces got darker and darker. “We could have sleepovers!”
“And share toys!”
They made a beeline back to Jongup’s bedroom where Yongguk was pretty sure he heard his son squeal something about double Christmas presents.
“Well at least they didn’t ask why I wasn’t a girl.” Daehyun mumbled, burying his face against Yongguk’s spine. “Himchan will probably go home and tell everyone what he saw so that’s something I have to look forward to.”
Yongguk pulled him out from behind him and cupped Daehyun’s still flushed cheek in his palm. “Regrets?”
Daehyun shook his head and the dimple Yongguk realized he kind of sort of adored popped up under his eye. “None.”
They broke apart long enough for Yongguk to answer the knocking on the door and pay for the pizza (pepperoni, he discovered he had ordered) and to call the kids back to the kitchen. As soon as they sat down at the table they joined together again, Yongguk’s arm around the back of Daehyun’s chair and a hand resting heavily over his thigh.
Once they had finished the pizza and the four of them had watched a movie (Yongguk didn’t remember what it was about, not with Daehyun tracing patterns into his palm and throwing a leg over top his own), the two younger boys looked sadly at each other knowing their play date was drawing to a close.
“Can’t Himchan spend the night?” Jongup pouted, his already large eyes widening even more on his tiny face. “Please, please Daddy?”
Daehyun interrupted, patting Jongup gently on the head. “Sorry Jongup. I have to cover a shift tonight and close the store. I’m going to run Himchan back to our house and then go straight there.” He waited until they had headed towards the door to say goodbye before turning towards Yongguk with a wary smile. “Have you finished your newest story yet?” When Yongguk shook his head no, Daehyun winced, the sad expression not one Yongguk enjoyed seeing on his face. “Maybe you should finish it, Yongguk. I’ll see you later. Thank you for having us.”
He left with a wave, practically carrying the teary eyed Himchan away from a sobbing Jongup at the front door. Yongguk glanced at his phone on the counter and frowned. What could Daehyun have meant by that?
Yongguk tried not to worry about it, but he couldn’t shake the frown off his face even while he read Jongup his bed time story and tucked him in for the night. He just couldn’t get Daehyun’s downturned face out of his head…
Yongguk grabbed his phone and turned the screen on, going back to the saved story distractedly as he walked to the bedroom. The final chapter finished loading up right as Yongguk sat in bed, reaching over to turn his night light off and become comfortable enough to read.
Exhaustion finally caught up to him, and he started to read, eyes half open tiredly. The room was quiet as he read down, dark except for the bright light shining on Yongguk’s concentrated face.
Minutes pass and Yongguk slowly inches up, his eyes widening at the words before him. Frantically, he reaches over and turns on the night light, head moving rapidly back and forth, soaking it in. Suddenly, Yongguk shot up from bed, cursing under his breath as he hurried over to grab a jacket from his closet, and leaving his room.
The phone rang several times before his sleepy neighbor answered. “What the fuck, Yongguk?”
Yongguk tripped over his shoes, having to turn around and grab frantically at them. “Can you come over and watch Jongup? He’s already in bed. I just need to run out for a little bit.”
Youngjae was quiet for a moment before a loud snort escaped. “Do you have a booty call or something?” At Yongguk’s silence he finally erupted into loud laughter and Yongguk could hear him moving around in the apartment next door. “Alright, alright. Give me five minutes.”
It actually took six minutes for the other boy to arrive, not that Yongguk was counting.
“The kid woke up when my phone rang. Congrats Yongguk. Your need for ass made my four year old son cry and pee the bed.”
He tried to be quiet as he grabbed his keys and left the apartment, but Yongguk’s mind was running too fast to really process anything at that moment.
I can’t believe it.
Yongguk turned on the engine of his car, squealing out of the parking space and heading toward a familiar direction. Once tired and almost closed eyes were now franticly focused ahead of him, his hand tapping anxiously on the dashboard.
Daehyun. Daehyun. Daehyun.
A red light flashed, and Yongguk slammed hard on his breaks, resting his head on his arms, muttering to himself.
It all made sense now.
Yongguk was thankful for the lack of cars out at this time of night, for it only let him pull into the McDonald’s parking lot in a less amount of time.
Yanking open the entrance door, Yongguk stumbled in, searching frantically for the one thing on his mind. The lobby was empty, as it should have been at that hour, and Yongguk was thankful for that fact as he finally spotted that familiar head of hair out in the play area.
Numbly, Yongguk walked over, never taking his eyes of the other as Daehyun cleaned the playground, wiping down and disinfecting the equipment and picking up stray trash here and there. He stopped a few feet away from him, eyes dazed and breathing heavily.
Daehyun looked up, gasping in surprise, before giving a small smile.
“Yongguk? “
Yongguk closed his eyes: visualizing the online McDonald’s story in his head perfectly.
Gabe smiled down at him, kissing his neck gently as they sat in the abandoned kid’s playground. Together they stayed, even after the sun rose up, whispering words of love and affection towards one another. And so they remained, for years and years to come…
Yongguk swallowed hard. Eyes finally opening to breathe in everything that was Daehyun.
And perhaps one day, the real awkward customer, with his tall figure and passion for romantic fiction; and the mischievous McDonald’s manager who is always there: could fall in love just the same…
“You’re Kekemato…”
Daehyun’s nose did that adorable wrinkly thing it did when he wasn’t sure what to say. “Yeah. Kind of.”
“Kind of?” Yongguk took a step closer, able to feel his blood rushing through his heart and causing it to beat insanely. “Like you kind of want to fall in love with me?”
“Oh no.” Daehyun winked cheekily, turning back to his previous job of wiping off the slide. “That’s a for sure kind of want.”
The second Daehyun felt a warm weight settle against his back he froze, hand stopping mid swipe on the slide steps. “What are you doing?” He murmured over his shoulder.
“At least three times every single day in the past week I’ve had to pretend my hand on myself was yours.” Yongguk breathed raggedly into his ear, hands creeping around the smaller boy’s slim hips and jerking him backwards to rub against his painfully tight pants. “And this whole time you were writing porn fics about us?”
Daehyun closed his eyes as Yongguk rutted against him, mouth dropping open in a silent gasp. “I had to get y-your attention.”
Yongguk growled, the awkwardness and shakiness he normally felt around the other was completely gone and now he only felt need. Complete need and desire and possessive want. He didn’t even care if he made a fool of himself, he had to have Daehyun or he was going to go crazy.
“You’ve had my attention, Daehyun.” Long fingers teased at the button to Daehyun’s pants and flicked them open. “Every inch of you has had my complete and total attention for weeks.”
“Yongguk…” The rag dropped to the floor because Daehyun suddenly needed both hands to hold him up over the plastic slide. Yongguk’s palm was dragging overtop his briefs, flesh hot even through the thin cotton. Lips mouthed lazily at his pulse and Daehyun wondered why they had waited so long because this felt a million times better than the high the teasing gave him.
The rolls were suddenly switched, with Yongguk being the one dominating, teasing Daehyun into a moaning mess on the playground, while the other was now the one red in the face and mumbling incoherently. It was a nice change, and Daehyun couldn’t find it in his clouded mind at that moment to care, not when Yongguk was marking a trail with his teeth down the scope of his neck. No, he rather liked this switch.
Yongguk smiled into his skin, noting the squirming boy underneath him, and mentally decided that the two of them had gone through enough teasing, and pulled his body back.
The sight of Daehyun laying on the plastic slide, hair tousled and lips puffy and red, distracted Yongguk for a few seconds until he remembered his plan. Yongguk reached out and tugged on the green polo tucked tight into the others pants.
“Off.”
Daehyun complied, ripping his shirt off and throwing it somewhere off to the side. “You too.” He breathed out, pushing Yongguk’s shirt up greedily.
Soon enough, their bodies were once again pressed flush against each other, now heated skin to heated skin, as two pairs of hands clumsily worked at zippers, never once separating lips. It was a challenge, and Yongguk literally growled out loud at the complexity of Daehyun’s belt before the other took pity on him and helped him take it off.
Clad in only boxers, Yongguk pushed the two up higher on the small slide, large hands gripping tightly to Daehyun’s ass for leverage as he maneuvered them both to the top. Yongguk took advantage of the now level ground to press his hips down into Daehyun’s, hissing at the heat.
“Who k-knew it took sex to make you lose your awkwardness.” Daehyun’s laugh was shaky as he walked his fingers up Yongguk’s ribs and around his neck.
Yongguk might laugh about that later but right now he had Daehyun naked and crying out his name as his own personal endgame and there was nothing that could get in the way of that. He nosed against the rapid pulse beating a rhythm in Daehyun’s neck, tongue flicking against it until the other whined and yanked painfully on his hair.
“No teasing.” He ordered, bucking his hips forward, grinning slyly at the moan it earned him.
“You’ve been teasing me for days.” Yongguk muttered, mouthing down Daehyun’s pale chest. “Weeks.”
Daehyun held his breath when Yongguk reached the soft hairs below his bellybutton, teeth skimming the hem of his boxers. “I’m sorry.” He grabbed onto the sides of the slide and held on tightly, keening as warm breath gusted across the thin cotton separating them. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry. I won’t do it anymore!”
“I liked it.” Yongguk smiled against the material. He granted him mercy and slid a palm up the leg, smoothing over the inside of Daehyun’s soft thigh until he had him cupped in his hand. “I love your attitude.”
“Please, Yongguk, please?” His eyes were closed and his body canted desperately upwards needing more than the fleeting touches Yongguk was giving him.
Yongguk had never had this kind of power of Daehyun before. Their entire relationship, or whatever it was so far, consisted of Daehyun being the one in charge and guiding Yongguk into whatever direction he wanted, and now he had the smaller boy so submissive under him that he was practically begging for him.
He encircled Daehyun’s base, thumb slipping across the damp tip and slowly worked him, wrist sliding up and down for a few strokes then corkscrewing, causing Daehyun to hiss between his teeth. “We really going to do this on the playground?”
“Too far… to… go home.” Daehyun panted, toes hooking into the top of Yongguk’s boxers and clumsily tugging them down to his thighs. “My pocket.”
With a snort at Daehyun’s foresight, Yongguk ignored the whimper Daehyun made when he removed his hand and reached over the side of the slide for the discarded slacks. He came back up with a condom in his fist and the top of a lube packet between his teeth. Daehyun’s boxers were quickly thrown behind them and Yongguk wasted no time nudging his knees apart and ripping the perforation on the lube, spitting the top out as he slicked his fingers generously.
The first finger slid in so easily that it had Yongguk arching an eyebrow at the sheepish boy below him.
“I might have done this before the play date.” Daehyun blushed, embarrassed suddenly even though he was just moments earlier moaning Yongguk’s name.
Yongguk growled and shoved the second digit in maybe a little harder than he should have. “Did you pretend it was me inside you?” At Daehyun’s nod he laughed against his lips. “My fingers are so much longer than yours. I can reach further inside you than you’ve ever dreamed.”
He had him three fingers deep and so loud that Yongguk was afraid people walking by the store would hear him, soft voice transformed into a deep, guttural cry of Yongguk’s name.
The moment he withdrew and slid the slick fingers over himself, positioning himself against Daehyun, was the second the normal awkwardness came back and he stared down with wide eyes until Daehyun smiled reassuringly and wrapped his arms around Yongguk’s neck. “It’s just me.” He whispered against his jaw, thumbs rubbing slow circles into Yongguk’s nape. “I’m not River and I don’t need flowers and candles and moonlight. I just need you.”
That was exactly what Yongguk needed to hear. He didn’t want Shane and River’s romance. He didn’t need a perfect relationship where everything fell into place and was picture perfect. Relationships grew stronger when you worked for them. He loved the headache that came along with Jung Daehyun.
“What if I said I loved you?”
Daehyun laughed loudly in the quiet room. “I’d say you read too many cheesy romance novels and to wait a few more months before pulling that line out.” His thighs wrapped around Yongguk’s and he pulled him forward, eyes fluttering when he felt Yongguk bottom out against him. “Pretend I’m River.” Daehyun couldn’t help one last joke, smirking up at him until Yongguk grabbed his wrists and held them above his head in a tight grip.
“I don’t want River.” Yongguk’s confidence came back with every push into Daehyun’s pliant body. He dropped his head and pressed a bruising onto him, catching every gasp and whine that he was granted. “I want Daehyun.”
Neither spoke again as Yongguk alternated between fucking him with reckless abandon and then with slow even strokes that had Daehyun fighting against him for more friction. The closer Daehyun got the redder his skin grew, uneven patches of blush that spread down his neck and across his chest. Yongguk sucked the flesh above his collarbone between his teeth, adding dark maroon bruises to the canvas his touch turned Daehyun’s skin into.
His movements grew erratic and he could feel his elbow shaking with the effort of holding up his body while his other arm still held Daehyun’s wrists firmly above them.
“Tell me the stars shine in my eyes.” Daehyun whispered, body tensing as he tried not to lose control.
“Shut up.” Yongguk growled, pulling out of him and flipping him over with a hard slap on the thigh. “Will you ever let me forget that stupid story?”
Daehyun’s laughter died in his throat as Yongguk re-entered him from behind and forced his chest down onto the hard plastic slide. Fingers gripped into his slim hips and held him still as Yongguk’s chest rumbled loudly against his back and his slick tongue probed at Daehyun’s shoulder blade.
Yongguk slipped his hand between the slide and Daehyun’s waist and roughly grabbed his length, pumping him quickly so that he would be as close as he was to falling apart. “You ready?” He murmured into his ear, smiling at the needy cry Daehyun gave at his question. Yongguk’s fist found its way into Daehyun’s shaggy black hair and pulled his face to the side so that he could swallow his loud moan as he came on Yongguk’s fingers, muscles clenching around Yongguk and forcing him over the edge with him.
“You’re so beautiful.” Yongguk panted the sentiment into Daehyun’s sweaty hairline as he rode out his release.
“You’re a little late on the sweet talk.”
The two of them laid there on the hard plastic playground, their bodies too sweaty and exhausted to move. Besides, they both seemed content to just stay curled up next to each other, tracing patterns on each other’s skin and giving goofy smiles at one another. Yongguk batted away Daehyun’s teasing about him being slow to pick up that he was the author of his online story (“I mean come on, Yongguk. ‘Lovin it at McDonalds?’”). But Yongguk just smiled into Daehyun’s neck. It didn’t matter now, after all.
Soon the sky became lighter, and although comfortable in their present positions, they were both pretty sure that they were breaking at least 4 laws for being naked on a public children’s playground (not to mention what they had done on it BEFORE), and so they slowly made their way down the slide.
The reality that Yongguk had to be at work in a few short hours began to sink in, as did the fact that his son was still at home with his neighbor, and he groaned, tugging on his pants clumsily. A snicker had his arm reaching out to pin the giggling man against his chest, pressing a kiss to his forehead. Perhaps he didn’t mind the teasing after all.
A couple stolen kisses later, and they finally managed to get dressed, both turning toward the setting of their love session with equal smirks.
“Who knew that boring Cowboy Daddy had a thing for sex on a McDonald’s playground…”
The smack on Daehyun’s ass was well deserved, in both of their minds, and Daehyun left with a grin as he attempted to wipe down the play area again.
Remembering his duty as a father, and as a friend to Youngjae, Yongguk pulled out his phone from his pants pocket to check in at his apartment, only to be stopped by a text from his neighbor himself.
Haha, good luck with this one, buddy!
Yongguk squinted down at the attached picture and let out a squeak. Youngjae had managed to take a picture of what looked like one of Jongup’s pictures. In Jongup’s stick figure layout were two people, holding hands and surrounded by little red hearts. At first glance, Yongguk assumed it was him and Daehyun, but the names beside the two figures were “Himchannie” and “Jonguppie”. Yongguk’s eyes flew to the top of the picture, at the large title to this piece. Husbands.
Choking, Yongguk bent over, his head steaming and mind instantly going into action to try and figure out this turn of events.
“Yongguk?”
Yongguk looked up, a million things on his tongue ready to say, from warning Daehyun about this to demanding an explanation, to anything. But Daehyun just smiled, and held out his hand, motioning toward the ball pit innocently.
“We still got about an hour…”
And Yongguk decided, plastic balls pressed against his back painfully and Daehyun’s tongue exploring his collarbone that everything else could wait. THIS was much more important…
