Been meaning to put these up for a while. From spring quarter.
After-death
Johann Holter-Mehren
Life is the end
Death is the beginging
A soul is the stars
The stars are the universe
The universe is a river
A river of souls is time
Time is everlasting
Life
Johann Holter-Mehren
The Apache sat down, tired, for you see
His game had run from him, flowed, like
Water in a stream
Now he would be un-able to feed his family
His lack of ability killing his people
But the game thriving
Time
By: Johann Holter-Mehren
Time lies
Time is deceitful
It tells you everything will be ok
It won’t
Time says it is infinite
It’s not
You won’t have enough time for anything

After #2
By: Johann Holter-Mehren
Life is the end
Death is the beginning
A soul is the stars
The stars are the universe
The universe is a river
A river of souls is time
Time is everlasting
Time is a thief
It lies, it slanders, it misinforms, it misaligns
A river of souls drowns those who swim in it
The universe is vast and unforgiving
And no-one can hear you when you scream
The stars are oh so blinding
Souls are blacked and dead
The beginning is near
Death is the end
Life is only the start
Rain
By: Johann Holter-Mehren
Rain pitter patters on green leaves
Boughs sag under the weight
Trunks bend in the wind
The creaky creaky can be heard
The rain falls
Drippity drip
From those green leaves
From those sagging boughs
Splash, splash on the undergrowth
Dream
By: Johann Holter-Mehren
A wisp of a thought developed in my head
Turning, twisting, twirling
Trying to escape from its prison
My secret passion slipped through my lips
Worming its way into her ear
My face reddened and my heart skipped a beat

A smile had formed on her lips
My secret hunger had been shared
The wisp had infected her

And we congealed as one
Hmmm, so the last one I can't get it to format right. The last bit should look like a wine glass. From "turned her body..." to the last line is a wine glass. Grr. Damn you lj. So those are then ones I did for class. 2 that have a little meaning that doesn't show in the poem. The life one for the most part. After is my fav. I love the second one, so wonderful. Then I've got few I did in class... I'll post those another time, little umm. Yeah.
