have you looked at the new book? I don't know anything about it so it's difficult to state an opinion. Kinda sucks for john though when the whole group goes jedi and he doesn't. I'm sure this won't at all add fuel to john's "everyone hates me and you guys all treat me like shit yet i'm still here by choice" fire.

I've told John that just because everyone else is Jedi doesn't mean he can't be. I've said it a lot. So if he plays like Scoundrel and complains that he can't deflect then it's his own fault.

I've looked at the new sheets, but haven't seen the book yet. It looks like they changed the skill system and made it work off a Perception system instead of Listen, Search and Spot. It's probably essentially the beta for D&D 4th ed. just like the last one was essentially the same for 3.5 ed. I'll either hunt down the book on .pdf or actually go look at the book in person. I like the old edition and I have a mental log of the NPC cast so far and they're built on the old edition. For that reason alone I might run the old one.
