Ummm, yeah, I don't think so. MAYBE??? You're the sitter, not like a relative that they can screw. I would call him back and tell him exactly how much they owe, and tell them that unless they are able to pay you up front from now on, you won't be able to keep the girls. You can't continue to keep them for free. Your time is valuable too.

well, they owed $175 but since Genia is keeping the girls today- she stayed home- it's $150- still, $50 could go a long way for formula and diapers and groceries, ya know? he called from work so I'm not sure I could call him back... the minutes on their phone ran out so I can't call her at home... I'm hoping that Doug will be home when Troy comes by later and helps me be a little stronger... I hate being this way, really I do.

i'm pretty depressed today- doug works overtime in the morning.. maybe i can come over then- depends on how the night goes- gotta wait and see what happens when Troy gets here.

I agree that you should stand your ground and tell them that is unacceptable. Wait until Troy arrives with the money and then tell him that from now on you need to be paid prior to sitting. This should prevent the problem. Be strong girl!
