Or ... not-work as the case may be. I have an exam later today that I feel wholly unprepared for (not for a lack of effort. I swear - I read those chapters at least three times each), yet I've decided to post a pointless journal. Because. I. Can. So there. :)

I was up pretty late last night. The majority of the time I was actually studying (educational techniques, adaptations, and so forth), but then I recalled the dream I'd had the previous night. It was so utterly random. I didn't sleep well, woke up a lot. Which probably explains why I was dreaming about singing a song with my old Girl Scout Troop. For some odd reason we were singing "Hope's Song" from Veggie Tale's An Easter Carol. Now, I love this song. It's absolutely beautiful in my opinion. I really got into the whole performing thing; my other troop members were kinda peeved at me for some reason. I decided to purchase the song because of this dream. And I've added another song to the rapidly growing list of songs I'd like to sign in Sign 2.

So far, I've considered:

Jack's Obsession (The Nightmare Before Christmas)
Kidnap the Sandy Claws (Same as above; though this is more of a Sign 3 song)
Hope's Song (Rebecca St. James)
Letters from War (Mark Shultz)

All of which make it onto my favorite songs list, along with:

That's How You Know (from Enchanted; it's sugary sweet and fun)
The Minstrel's Prayer (Cartel; the lead cannot sing, but the lyrics are fabulous)
Acoustic #3 (Goo Goo Dolls; I love a lot of their songs, but this is the one that I've most recently fallen in love with)
Ireland (Legally Blonde: The Musical; it's amusing and I love the lady whose singing - awesome voice)
Good Enough (Evanescence; by far my favorite song of their's.)
Don't Do Sadness (Spring Awakening ... some of that music thoroughly creeps me out, but I do love, love, love this song)
Cerf-Volant (from Les Choristes; this song always makes me happy, even if I can't understand what the lyrics are)
Aquarium (I love this piece, though I'll always associate it the Benjiman Button now because of its trailer)
The Kill (30 Seconds to Mars ... I will admit this is partially  because Jared Leto just looks so darn smexy in the video).

Well, that's all I can think of at this moment in time. It's about ten o' clock, and I really ought to study some more for my exam before I have to go to class. Meh. I really wish it were Spring Break still. Anywho, pointless journal is pointless. Have a fantastic day!
