The detective idea sounds ridiculously fun! I wish I could've done something like that when I was in middle school :)

I think SK future fics work out really well, because the characters already act older than they are. They're so mature for 7th/8th graders.

I'm glad you think so! I'm going to be running it by the students' teacher this Tuesday to see what she thinks of it.

They are, aren't they. WVD does throw in a bit of their childishness now and again, but overall they're a highly impressive bunch of middle schoolers. In regards to my story, I've been puzzling out whether or not to add Sammy's dad to the story (as he will be revealed by the end of the series), and as I was going over probable character traits for him, I got -the- most random crossover idea ever. *points at icon* Upon thinking about it more, the years wouldn't line up (as far as my calculations go, the group will be in tenth grade in the year 2000), but the idea of Shawn Spencer as Sammy's dad had me laughing. It's so utterly ridiculous and perfect, but so, so wierd.

OH MY GOD. Psych and SK, together? That would be so awesome! Seriously, you should do that, even if just as a parody or something. Forget the calculations, he's perfect! :D

I'm glad I'm not the only one highly amused by the idea. :D I'll definately try to work something out. It should be interesting as Sammy is quite skeptic about psychics. Good gracious ... Shawn and Madam Nashira (is that right? we haven't seen her in awhile) would be quite the pair together. *plotting*
