I think SK future fics work out really well, because the characters already act older than they are. They're so mature for 7th/8th graders.

They are, aren't they. WVD does throw in a bit of their childishness now and again, but overall they're a highly impressive bunch of middle schoolers. In regards to my story, I've been puzzling out whether or not to add Sammy's dad to the story (as he will be revealed by the end of the series), and as I was going over probable character traits for him, I got -the- most random crossover idea ever. *points at icon* Upon thinking about it more, the years wouldn't line up (as far as my calculations go, the group will be in tenth grade in the year 2000), but the idea of Shawn Spencer as Sammy's dad had me laughing. It's so utterly ridiculous and perfect, but so, so wierd.
