I know I, for one, am happy that you've found some happiness. I kept trying and trying to tell you to hold on for it, that it would come, and I feel so relieved that it has.
I know you're worried that we don't talk much anymore. That we'll drift like we did while you were in Vegas, and only see eachother like once a year. But that's not gonna happen. Granted, things are probably tight for both of us right now as far as money and transportation goes, but rest assured I am never going to go without getting in touch with you for a very long time, like I did while you were in Vegas.
That reminds me though, I'll give you a call tonight around 7. Your mom wanted me to hear about all the stuff you did for her birthday, it sounded really sweet. :)
And yeah.. I miss Ed too. I think about him every day, and I've had dreams about him again recently. *sigh* But..who knows, maybe we'll see him again someday? He's still with us anyway... in some ways.

Hey love...you're doing just fine! You'd know if you weren't (I think you know what I mean). Each of us has an inate sense of impending "doom" and we all know when it's hanging around us (even though sometimes we bury our heads in the sand and hope it will pass over us without noticing), and when it's halfway around the world bugging somebody else at that moment.
