Vol. 1 #102 -- [Action/Voice]

[Anyone deciding today was actually a nice lovely, sunny day to visit the beach is going to be in for a very big, very angry surprise. You see, instead of being put in the forest or maybe dropped somewhere by the fountain like normal people, the Hulk woke up at the bottom of the freaking ocean. Not the most delightful way to start his Luceti ( Read more... )

[Lying a dozen or so yards away from where Hulk emerges onto the beach is a woman in a New Feather dress with her face planted in the sand, her bare feet just a few inches away from the waves. She doesn't stir when Hulk lands on the beach.

If he passes her by, maybe she'll wake up before the tide comes in. Or maybe the drugs in her system are too strong and she'll drown. Or maybe she'll wake up on her own after Hulk leaves and spot the book with her name on it a few feet away...

Either way, giant green man, the choice is yours.]

Eep! [And she scrambles to do just that as he first takes off - looking all around as she does so because - Elicia.

...and he covers distance so quickly and jumps so high, it's frightening... and amazing. She'd be laughing in delight if she wasn't so concerned for her daughter.

But there doesn't seem to be a sign of anyone else on the beach.]

[Well it's just a good thing she's from the alchemist universe cause otherwise this would probably freak her out a lot more. After jumping around the beach for a while he'll finally land hard on the sand and just... look around a bit.]

Hmmm. Don't think she's here.

[Don't discount the power of drugs that make you go 'whee,' the fact that this place makes so much more sense as a dream, or the fact that she's probably holding onto his thumb like a burr - terrifying mode of transportation is nothing compared to finding Elicia.

When Hulk stops, Gracia slumps down, trying hard to control her breathing so she doesn't become hysterical. What do I do?]

Maybe... whatever happened, they just took me and they left her alone. [Gracia hopes so. But she's found that life has a horrible habit of disappointing her hopes.] Do you know where we are?

Maybe.

[He actually has no idea either way. And you can tell the Hulk is the best person ever at comforting people.]

Hmph. Some place called Luceti. [If the journals are right.] Hmm. If you wanna find her, you're probably gonna need one of these. [And he'll reach into his pocket and pull out a really messed up crushed looking journal. THIS IS WUT YOU'RE GONNA NEED]

Luceti? That doesn't sound like Amestris...

[She reaches out and takes the journal, staring at it curiously before opening it up and listening to it -] Amazing... are all these people here too, I wonder?

[She continues flipping through it before handing it back to Hulk.]

Where did you get it?

Seems like it.

[He'll point at the beach with his thumb to answer her second question.]

On the sand. [Annnd he's just gonna put her down. Since it doesn't look like they're going to be going to the hospital right now.] Hmm. You can probably find another one if you look.

[It's possible someone coulda left another one maybe.]

[Gracia gets down, a little grateful to have her own two feet under her again. She's a little unsteady still, both from the unexpected ride and the fact that whatever's in her system hasn't quite left yet.

She looks around...] I don't see anything...

[And then she turns and - in a place where she just looked - there is a book laying with her name on it.

...okay, things are officially getting beyond creepy, and Gracia sways a little bit before bending down.] It's... got my name on it.

[Oh, well his was just green. The exact same green as he was (though his name is probably on thar somewhere.]

Hmm. Must be yours then. [To be honest, none of what's going on surprises the Hulk all that much. He's kind of used to the whole trying to be kidnapped thing, etc. So he's actually taking all of this really well.]

[Gracia frowns down at the book and opens it up - to find its contents the less-smashed version of Hulk's.

...yup. Definitely feeling a little dizzy here. Maybe she'd better sit down. - Oh wait, she already is. Well, while she doesn't remember doing that, it is convenient.]

...you said there was a town here?
