I am getting married in 3 months. How time flies... All the big "to dos" are checked off the list, the stress is finally easing and I think we'll really be able to enjoy the next 3 months of finalizing details, picking flowers, picking wedding rings, finalizing the Hindu ceremony details, etc. I'm really excited

It wouldn't be a bad idea at all. I would recommend that you wear it to the Hindu ceremony though and not the civil ceremony. =)
