ok, i have been rather silent lately. i found out last thursday that i will be deploying to a foreign country with my reserve unit, sometime next month, for a probable span of 6 months.

i can't say much else about it other than it sucks.

my mom. she lives about a 1/2 a mile away so they'll almost be home. i don't know i was thinking maybe having my girl house sit for me and keep them, but i think maybe it's just a bit early for that.

Hmm, so how did your boys take the news? And why of all the times for you to go does it have to be at this time of year. That just sucks majorly. Well, I know you're not going yet but stay safe while your away. I'm gonna definitely miss hearing from you during your time away.

hayden vaquely remembers me leaving for 3 months when he was barely 4. he is usually very strong and i don't think it will bother him too much. dalton is more of a quite child, and difficult to read sometimes, and i don't think he grasps how long six months is. but both of them are looking forward to staying with my parents that long, and they will be spoiled by the time i get back. my dad really likes taking one of them to practice or a game when i can't make it now, so he'll get 6 months of it, he's such a good grandpa.
