House fandom meta rant #eleven-billionty
I am so tired of xtreme shippers constantly at each other's throats. Over the most recent episode, I'm already seeing posts along the lines of ...
- "HAH! House called Cuddy his "friend". He's NOT in love with her, and never will be!"
- "HAH! Wilson and House are finally OVER! It's all-Huddy all the time from now on!"
Ugh, I have a headache. Besides, House loves Ball-y more than anyone else. So there.
ETA: Oh, and for those who have asked, the Hilson friendship is what pulled me into this show and keeps me watching. However, I don't hate Cuddy or reject the idea of Huddy as part of the over-all story.
Haven't read any fanfic, yet, but plan to over the summer.
I don't identify myself with any particular ship-group. But if House and Wilson are kept apart, my interest in the show will wain. So ... *shrug*
