Ship-war conscientious objector

Yeah, House is going there. I'm adopting a wait and see attitude about it. I'd rather see the story move forward than endure another season of "will they/won't they" angst. However, romance on this show just doesn't spark or interest me (whatever the pairing). It's not what attracted me, or keeps me watching. But I don't care either way. As long as ( Read more... )

I've never watched Grey's Anatomy, so can't compare. But "soapy" romance drama has been part of this show since season two. Remember the multi-episode arc where House won Stacy back from her wheelchair-bound husband, then spurned her at the last minute? Forteen? Chameron? Wilson and Amber, which culminated in Amber's untimely death? The Stacy and Amber arcs were extremely well done, but still.

These writers have always dipped into that well. If the Huddy is as badly done as the finale, or if it dominates too many episodes next season, then I'll be singing a different tune. But right now I'm just going to wait and see how it plays out.
