Damn you, Steve Jobs!

I went to the mall today, and came home with the BIGGEST purse I've bought in over two decades. It has handles and a shoulder strap. Seriously, it's just this side of 'luggage'.

The reason: So I can shlep my iPad around with me, along with all my usual stuff. Thanks to Steve Jobs and his evil, Apple empire, I have become one of those Big Purse

LOL I bought a larger purse a few months ago, for a similar reason. I don't like to leave my iPod or GPS in the car, and sometimes I have my Kindle with me, so I needed room for that, too.

How are you liking the iPad? I would really love to get one eventually.

Hee! The gadgets multiply when we're not looking.

I looooove my iPad. However, I don't have a Kindle or an iPhone, so the iPad is useful to me for reading eBooks, and surfing the web via 3G when a wi-fi signal isn't available. I had considered buying a Kindle a year ago, but was discouraged by the lack of PDF support. If PDF formatted books aren't a big deal to you, then a Kindle might still be the better choice.

I've had a huge messenger bag from the Gap that I've carried around for years.

I needed something big enough to carry my 12x14" sketchbook, and that was the closest thing I could find before resorting to a backpack.
