I don't claim to be an expert on Russian, but I'm guessing the English translation is a bit embellished.

However, yay.

That's a neat arrangement of the tune, really simple and thus easy to learn and play for hours on end :-) A couple of instruments and a drum, and that'd be all you'd need for dancing.
Nice find!

Do you think we could get nori_ssh to sing it? Or teach someone to sing it in Russian?

I also found the steps for Fedelta, so that will be on the list too. : ) It's probably going to end up being a hard ball, but I think that's what the peasant's dance is for anyway.

She's a great singer, so I think either could work - though she'd need to teach a few of us as well :-)

Also: yay, Fedelta! I remember learning that one; it seemed a little tricky at the time, but in retrospect it's probably not that bad. No harder than Gracca, anyway...

I tried it on Weds night. It's not that hard, and definitely easier than Graccha. I think it's as hard as Rostiboli for three.
