Performance Practicum update

I talked to my advisor again about the Performance Practicum: Special Projects. She talked to the department head about it and they decided that because the add/drop period ended weeks ago I could not in fact add the Performance Practicum class. However! This did make them realize that the setup of the practicums is rather flawed as they are

That's what was so nifty this fall when Hedda auditions were before the end of the add/drop period. I got cast and then was still able to add my practicum.

Yeah, it works for the main stages for those reasons...but not the special projects...unless someone does another thing like The Shadow Box or Fringe, and holds auditions for them in December of Fall. But it's still a pretty crappy system, so I'm glad they're looking to change that now. :-)
