This week, Meggan started a new job as a waitress at Finn's, a new sea food restaurant near the Georgia Mall. Sarah & I have high hopes. Resident Evil has a special place in my heart, by the way. Watching the first one, I flirted with getting in a fight with a guy who was using his cell phone during the movie. See, my testosterone was highly pumped, and there was a guy a few seats down who took a call while the movie was running. I got up out of my seat, walked down the aisle to him, looked down on him, and said, in a rather gruff tone of voice, "You want to take that out of here?" He literally jumped with surprise. I was SO ready to throw down.
Disaster was averted. He hung up and showed me an appeasingly passive body language. But I honestly think, in that moment, I would have have beat the crap out of him if he hadn't hung up or if he'd bowed up to me. In hindsight, I'm glad he complied. But a more prehistoric part of my brain wishes he'd objected. I have never beaten the sh|t out of anyone.
One must not F with me if a Resident Evil movie is playing!
