We have something similar in Hawaii. They're called mahus. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mahu_%28person%29

Also, did you know that the first person on Mars was a Navajo? I read it in a Sci-Fi novel so it must be true.

Crap, I wish that I could remember the name of the book. I thought that it was "Red Mars," but apparently not. I think it was a book by Ben Bova, though I'm not positive. I read it while I was in high school so we're talking like 12-15 years ago. I still have the book but it's at my parents house in Massachusetts all packed away.

I'm sorry, my darling. I wish, oh, how I wish, that humans weren't so fucked up. But we're still animals - thinking, reasoning (sometimes) animals, but animals none the less. Territorial to the point of anilation. We can only keep sloughing through the least common denominator ...

That animal did a horrible, evil thing - and we can only hope that he will be mercifully put down like an animal

Someone who yells obscenities at anyone is less then human in my book. I don't know that they are? A human has a soul and a conscience.

What if one said, You God Damn Man! or woman! or you filthy straight Bastard! It is simple insanity and there is a huge gap where the brain is suppose to be and a some organ where the heart is supposed to be. Such self hatred and self loathing these part humans. Nust have been bashed up in childhood and really afraid of life. The only reason a part human behaves that way is because they have no self esteem , and have a need to hurt others to feel better. I hope this part human rots somewhwere alone and even more afraid!
