feeling a bit down in the dumps atm because im watching all these girls on youtube and they have loads of videos of their ponies.
there's Zy35 who keeps her horse and pony at a yard where I went for a while, its in wootten wawen and a bit of a dump and the lady penny who runs it saves loads of horses from slaughter/etc and my mom heard a thing on the radio about it.. and we went there. they didnt have any available ponies though so i had to ride this one called wesley or something like that lmao. it was bloody half dead and tiny, and it was lame. it wouldnt even come in from the field it was so lame. and when i rode it, well, i couldnt basically bc it wouldnt move! and then she got on it, whacked it one, it bucked and then moved about three steps. So that was good. i never went back but this girl maria has 2 horses from there, and theyre pretty good. it just shows that you dont have to have the best yard & equipment to have a good go at riding/keeping your own horse. i wish i could go back to that yard now.
if anyone says to me: 'omg, your yard is crappy, you have no proper school or anything.." blah blah blah then i will show them that yard where there are loads of girls and tbh its not the most poshest of places, its got a caravan for a tack room, for gods sake.
& me and my best friend have worked our asses off at clopton - weve collected ALL the jumps that are there, and yeah, they might just be old wooden poles that werent originally meant to be for jumping, and crates you use in supermarkets, they work. an we worked our arses off to paint them all, and we even made cross country jumps for the bottom of the field. So we've started with nothing and gained lots (:
and there may not be a proper school, but there is the jumping paddock, the fields and the hensons. plus the beautiful hacking areas. who needs a posh riding school/yard.
although, saying that, i wouldnt mind keeping my pony down at the hensons. its lovely, proper yard, proper indoor school. lovely jumping paddock, and not saying ours is bad just its a bit slopy and there's is flat.
*/end rant/* lmao.
and a new girll ive discovered, Pocahontasxbestxpony. Anna. shes even better an example. shes got 2 ponies from a riding school but she keeps them in a field i think, with no proper stable i dont think. and all her jumps are self-made. and she has to hack down to her friends school, just like we have to. her first pony, pocahontas is a cob, so cute! and sasha, who i havent watched much of yet, is gorgeous. Shows that you dont have to have loads of money and be posh to own horses. sterotypes :l :/
EddiesGun91, shes AMAZING! called lauren, shes about my sister's age i think (18) and she has her own horse, charly. and a horse she has accquired from a friend who i think gave herto lauren, to train whilst she went to university or abroad or something. she is actually probably one of the best rider's i have ever seen. I swear if you didnt know she wasnt youd think she was a pro, srsly. shes a spotless rider, not even kidding! kody is the horse she has gotten from her friend. she's an amazing horse, she is SO scopey and amazing, i would kill to have her. charly is such a cutie, and jumps amazingly too. she lives in ireland and her videos always have me hooked. i love watching her. I aspire to be as good as her at riding.
xXFunkyFillyXx THIS GIRL'S VIDEOS ARE THE BEST. I think. she's called abbey. she has her pony, red on loan from a riding shcool and hes amazing. probably the most entertaining of videos ive seen on youtube. not many of the horsey videos on youtube include XC, and I LOOVE XC, and abbey filmed it all with red. she used to have a pony called monster on loan, he was such a cutie but she outgrew him. on her channel theres videos of him too, and hes only about 13.3 but jumps like 4ft. mannn! she lives in oxfordshire.. which is quite close to me, as are anna and maria.
Of course i watch SO MANY more horsey videos from different users on yt (i have no life i know) and its made me SO wish i had taken videos at every oppurtinity when i had blue. kinda sucks really :/ But when there is a new pony on the scene i am going to video it everytime i ride, seriously! haha. it seems this is what these girls do! :) ugh so yeah that is my resolution, i guess. haha.
I'm going to venture downstairs and see whats upp. i do this frequently lol cause this computer's upstairs and i want to get in on the action downstairs xD
ugh so yeah im like ~craving~ for a pony & to ride rn. :l my mum is all keen :) its good though, cause i remember about 3 years ago i always used to ask her and she said they were too expensive and she/i didnt have enough experience but now i think shes realised im serious about it, and i did have blue for quite a long time and tbh I learnt quite alot before i had him anyways.
so yeah, i guess you could say we are seriously looking for a pony. :D :/ horsehunter is good although i keep like, finding faults with some of the ponies on there. i guess im just really nervous, and basically, ngl, a pansy. I wish i had never stopped lessons cause they really did boost my confidence, but, when i had bad days, they were really bad and i dreaded going cause i was so scared. (pansyish, i know. haha) but when i did something good i couldnt wait for friday to come around. its suckish cause i could have been enjoying a pony all these years but no -_-
oh well, im still young lol and not getting like extremely tall or tall at all any time soon so its good i dont have to move onto horses just yet,
ill stick with my lil ponies for now kthx.
Horses are my dream, im not just gonnna leave them. i kinda blame it on the ~influences should i say that i had around the time i stopped lesssons. I was a fucking sadcase.
I cant wait till im older though, hopefully be on a rly good livery yard, maybe own my own one xD
k ive gone on for long enough. and this isnt gonna be private so yeh.
