playing the banjo while undergoing brain surgery

For the few folks out there who don't read boingboing...

Banjo player Eddie Adcock recently had surgery to repair a tremor in his right hand. To be sure that the surgery worked, they kept him awake during the surgery - and had him play the banjo. Video of a bit of it here.

How are you? anonymous October 30 2008, 23:17:15 UTC
You may not remember me. I dated you a long time ago. About 12 years to be exact. My name is Rosemary. I used to live in Wyckoff.
My husband, Robert and I now live in Ringwood- New Jersey.
We are both nurses. We just had our first child on September 4th, 2008. I remember your sister, Leah too. She had a son named Ezra.
How is she?
I hope that you are doing well.

Hi Rosemary,

I'm afraid you've got the wrong person, as I've never lived in New Jersey and my sister isn't named Leah. 12 years ago, I was still in high school.

Congratulations on your baby, though. If I ever find contact info for the other Jonathan Ben Ari, I'll leave forwarding instructions here.

Thanks,
Jonathan
