Justify your existence.

(Answer in any sense you wish, whatever floats your boat. Thanks!)

All excellent questions, even if distracting.
As to why, why not? We think.

Thanks!

Justifying everyone seems harder than justifying just one, but then maybe we all need each other in "random chaos" ways that we don't understand.

Thanks!

My existence is unjustifiable. I am baseless and without merit.

If anyone has read me from the beginning, perhaps they'll recall that I think this should be the primary goal of the human race. We should be off this planet already, there is too much risk having all of our eggs in one basket. We know that, but not enough yet.

Thanks!

(Disclosure: I am a moderately practicing Catholic/believer). I was pondering a similar type question to myself the other day. Lots going on in my world (sister with brain cancer, my wife and I about to have our first child etc.) and I had been feeling particularly existential. My coworker/friend, who I like to call a born again atheist, commented to me that I seemed somewhat distant of late. I explained my situation and mentioned I was pondering what my purpose on earth was. He gave the best line on the topic I have heard: "What makes you you are important enough that God gave you a purpose?"

After laughing for several seconds I realized he was right. My existence is important for me, my family and those around me. And that is purpose enough for me.

I'll disclose that I am a confused Jew who sees as much enlightenment (in context) in Krishnamurti as I see in Moses.

Your second to last sentence is the way I feel too.
Good fortune to us all.

Thanks!
