When I worked on the CBOE (seems so long ago, but I guess it hasn't even been ten years yet) I was friends with John Kark. He was one of my people in the pit, a great, happy, smart teammate. I know. I am sorry. It probably hit a nerve or generated emotion for a lot of people, but the nerve it hit in you is almost the largest. But still, it is a well-written, completely true sentiment, from my perspective.

Experiencing this with my 12 year old niece is very tough. She just got home from a three week session, and seeing her collapsed barely able to drink or eat is disheartening in the extreme. She used to be hyperactive, ballet dancing, gymnastics, and so on.
