In the News: October 27th, 2008
Pretty slow day, but there's some good bits in the news.
If you love the show, but haven't buckled down and bought the fancypants West Wing Complete Series box set, today's the day.
So much for Fanboys finally coming out in theatres this fall- it's been pushed back to February 6th, 2009.
Netflix has finally begun to make their "Watch Instantly" feature available to Intel Mac owners. It's rolling out today to select users, with service to all by the end of the year.
Joss has a little update post over at Whedonesque over the status of his new show "Dollhouse."
With the exception of the voice-over, I think the new international trailer for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is outstanding.
Both Pineapple Express (which I've somehow still not seen) and The Wackness will be available on DVD January 6th.
50 Cent's new album, "Before I Self-Destruct," will hit stores December 9th.
Hitting the Wii Virtual Console this week is the classic Earthworm Jim for 800 points. Also, in the Wii Ware department, the third episode of Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People, subtitled "Baddest of the Bands," will sell for 1,000 points.
