Brenda actually became a fan. She claims that she doesn't really know what's going on, but I think she understands more than she gives herself credit for.

Hey!!! I mostly go just to hear the heckling the guy in the front guy yells out at the opposition. I'm not into the game at all. It's not like I have a favorite player or anything.

That's how I got into (American) football -- I fell in love with dorky sweet whitebread Peyton Manning, and watched the games so I could ogle him, and somehow became a frothing-at-the-mouth diehard fan. Although I still don't know what's going on most of the time. "Dammit! They should have tackled the throwing guy before he got the pass off to the catching guy!"

The corporate suite sounds, well, sweet! *rimshot* I hope you guys have a blast!

Good news on the exam thingy - hope it goes well. But I'm afraid that if it's called "soccer" then it's not the real thing. And excuse me, "Superliga"?! Last time I checked the US wasn't a Spanish colony... :P

Let me know when you finally see Beckham play. I saw him in a couple of games vs Sheffield Wednesday of all teams. He sucked. We lost!

SuperLiga is the top 3 MLS teams last year plus LA for some bizarre reason even though they were rubbish, versus the top 4 Mexican teams. Strangely enough, LA reached the final against Pachuca where they lost. Snort, chuckle.

I didn't even see Beckham play in that game, because I didn't turn the TV on until half time and he was already injured by then...
