This will be the first LJ post this year that doesn't focus on Kristina. Everything is still good there. Three weeks from this moment I will be in Russia sitting across from her in a restaurant or walking around the zoo

Yeah, my parents are in Vancleave and my brother is in Panama City. I don't have to live right on top of them, but might be nice to live closer. Maybe somewhere between New Orleans and Tampa.
If things go swimmingly, would you consider moving there to be with Kristina? Maybe just temporarily? I know you mentioned before how dismal it would be to live there, but if it was something you knew would only be for X amount of time....?
That is certainly a possibility! I can't remember how much of this I mentioned before, but I've looked into teaching English in Russia. I would have to go through a TESL certification course, and then get like 10-month contract at a university or language school over there. While teaching English, I could immerse myself in Russian language and culture in my spare time. From there, I could either get an accounting job in Russia or drag Kristina back to the US.
I think our lives would be considerably easier in the US, but living in Russia for awhile would be a great adventure.

I'd never again be able to ask you where your sense of adventure is. "I used it all when I lived in Russia" would be a perfectly acceptable answer.

I can't wait to keep hearing about your story. :)
