Digimon Adventure 02 on retroperstpective;an analysis of Daisuke.
Since "what the egad" did a restoperstive on the entire Digimon Adventure 02, i decidet to make a lot shorter analysis on simply 1 charecter, who symbolices 02 the best;Daisuke Motomya!
I believe the word Daisuke comes from Japanese names, meaning literally "great help" I cannot stop laughing about the irony of this charecter!

I guess in a sense Daisuke actually did help Toei and Bandai, since they wanted to KILL the entire Adventure Universe! Ok, maybe Daisuke actually did something usefull for change. Something, that he actually was supposed to do!
Daisuke is a PUNK! I think the best way to describe a punk would be the perfect combination of arrogance and stupidity. Someone who is too dumb might simply be retardet, so he or she must be forgiven for hes behavior. And speaking about "she" Daisukes sister seems very much like a punk as well!
There also has to be just the right mix of arrogance and stupidity. A person too arrogant would have the danger of learning of hes mistakes, and arrogance requiress a surden level of intelligence. To be either arrogant or stupid you just have to grow into that role, but people are literally BORN into being natural punks!
This is so bad on every level, that you coud not imagine a person like him, if you hadn't seen him. And if you didn't know Japanese people you woulnd't believe some one like him could actually exist in real life, and i'll leave it at that!
It's like Toei Animaiton holding a special competition;who can create the most anoying charecter? I guess Daisukes creator won the main price.

Miyako is a bit of a b**** but believe it or not, she actually EVOLVES during the series, and actually has enough guts to openly ADMIT her weaknesses. Do we ever see Daisuke doing that?
Miyako atleast DREAMS of things like eating cake alone, if that is something to dream about. Daisuke dreams about NOTHING!
Nothing at all, especially after Hikari dumped him. He is an empty bucket!

Why am i so offended with Daisuke?
Because i remember deep in my childhood watching a hit anime series called Ginga Nagareboshi Gin, wich also had a Daisuke in it, but he actually DID something there, rather then just acting like a total DICK! Thats the fucken difference!
Here we see a pumped up lad who actually worked for 30-days to get these results, so he could use a "bear killer bow" On the other hand we have some punk on the beach, whos "muscles" the animators wanted to underline in order to "seduce" the audience.
Here we see Daisuke on the beach yet again, looking at an email Hikari sent him!

Well, perhaps you are the best "hero" for a toy series that really isn't going anywhere? I mean, why does the 02 toy look like a "cool cellphone" with an antenna? I mean, it doesent have any online connection to anywhere or ANYTHING, and about sending those emails through the Digivices....epic FAILL!!!
Ever wonder what Daisukes sexual orientation really is? He just "stops" liking Hikari in the middle of the show, and quietly switches to Ken. He ends up marrying a nobody girl(who we never see)and starts up hes own Ramen street kitchen.
And here is hes clone "son"
Maybe you are dressed like a total PUNK with that furcolor and screaming flame jacket, because hey...if it's dresses, look, sounds and acts like a QUEER it probobly is one!
